Turnovers per 90 is 16, compared to Sarr at 13.4. Wins the ball back 10.7 times per 90, Sarr 11.4.

Doesn't really excite me unless Kulu or Madders are leaving.

If Levy is committed to Ange then our first priority should be a central midfielder that can control the pace of games and distribute intelligently under pressure. Sadly that means finding a Modric like figure, which are rarer than hens teeth.

Was a great signing in his first season with us. Sadly his legs seemed to go after that and he just became a liability with late challenges all over the shop.

I met him on an Easyjet flight coming back from Amsterdam, the guy was raging at the Air Stewardess for giving him his change from a sandwich in Euros rather than pounds. Can't teach that level of aggression.

I just don’t see the point in signing this guy. He’s a couple of years older than Vuskovic and stylistically very similar, big, strong, not the quickest. In my opinion the the type of defender we need is a smooth, mobile type, good on the ball.

You may have a bit of a point overall, but good lord, Rebrov was nowhere near the best AM in world football at the time, he wasn't even an AM, he was just a striker that was short.

Even if you want to insist he was an AM, this would be a selection of his competition in that bracket at the time:

Zidane
Rivaldo
Totti
Rui Costa
Deco
Nedved
Ronaldinho

He wasn't even close to those guys.

From what I’ve seen during the Copa, he’s probably best described as a mezzalla type playing in that right-hand channel. He’s rangy, a bit of a free spirit with the ball.

However, interest in his services is mounting. Now able to sign a pre-contract agreement with a foreign club, four unnamed Premier League clubs have approached the striker’s entourage regarding a free transfer at the end of the season. Sheth adds that two Serie A clubs have also made an offer for the LOSC forward, who will not be departing the French club during the January transfer window, as confirmed by Létang.
