Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

No offence to either of you, but members of TFC have been calling for succession planning on Kane and Son since they were 28. Harry Kane is now 31 and people say he is too old.

The point is all of Lineker, Ginola, Klinsmann, Van da vaart, David’s, were stopgaps for a season or two albeit with no long term plan at the time (Sugar years mostly). I think that’s what we need now until the kids come through.

Not sure this market is conducive to the sort of deals we have done in the past, but if they are there they are probably in Saudi or USA.

I replied to your claim that Lineker, Ginola and Klinsmann were “well past their prime” simply stating my opinion that they were far from past their prime…but now you switched the topic to "succession planning". I simply replied to your opening statement where you did not mention "succession planning" - something everyone who's follow Spurs know Spurs have lacked for a very long time; mainly due to lack of competent managers/head-coaches to plan around.
Who say Kane is too old? Bayern bought him for a record fee (and contract until 2027) and was the top scorer in the Bundesliga last year.
Ginola, Klinsmann, Lineker clearly were not stop-gap signings: they were all top class when they signed for Spurs and kept being top class while playing for Spurs. Those players you called "stop gap players" were actually player whom Spurs should have built their teams around ... but failed to do so; which was the main reason for Klinsmann leaving for Bayern.

I just don’t see the point in signing this guy. He’s a couple of years older than Vuskovic and stylistically very similar, big, strong, not the quickest. In my opinion the the type of defender we need is a smooth, mobile type, good on the ball.
He's very quick and fast actually.
If Romero, Ben Davies (and Dragusin) will be leaving Spurs will need a "ready" CB.
I have not seen enough of him to be totally sure but that is that task of Spurs' scouts. If he'll turn into a top CB, the scouts should have seen that by now.

A 20-year-old with a season iLigue 1 is not a “ready” CB for me. I’m sure he’s a talent, especially if City are serious about him.

Jesus, who watches this shit... poor man's Goldbridge... all these idiots need their team to fail to make money... Robbie had so many subscribers and hits from fans from other teams when the Woolwich were shite and imploding. His revenue has dropped the last 2/3 years because viewers don't want to see joy and happiness. They want to see misery and melt downs.
I will punch this guy in the face if I see him.
