Regardless if he has faith in Ange or not, if we’ve no European football next season our budget for the summer will be even smaller. This will mean either more kids, average players or getting may be one decent player and more not good enough squad fillers or no one, leaving us with even more gaping holes and ever decreasing quality within our squad.

Whereas if Levy invests now it gives us a decent chance of getting European football albeit probably the Conference League next season. As the club has a habit of making club signings as opposed to who the current manager wants, as long as we don’t get say a RB when we need a Right Winger/Forward then they can be utilised by both Ange and his replacement should he leave.

Chelsea and United have managed to continually pay top wages and attract new players without being in Europe so why would our budget need to be smaller? We are no where near the limit for FFP and their is plenty of wiggle room for wages after the likes of Ndombele, Lloris, Kane and Dier have left over the years and been replaced with players on less , Money is one thing we can't use as an excuse here.

Levy doesn't even buy from the discie aisle at Waitrose or Booths. He's a Morrison's guy...as shit as Tesco & Asda, but it looks nicer.
 
If we go out both cups within a week early Feb that's when there will be a meltdown on here. Hope I'm wrong but with the injury situation Ange cannot be happy with 1 player in for the middle of January and our so called targets rejecting us

It doesn’t matter how much money the club have, they don’t spend it nor do they pay the level of wages required to attract quality players. We seem to have certain revenue streams that are used for squad building E.g. European football (gate receipts, win/progress bonuses, merchandise sales etc).

He was exceptional at Fiorentina. Their best No 9 since the legendary Batigoal. He's had injury issues at Juve and as a club they've been pretty meh for years. That's what happens when no longer paying off refs and doing dodgy transfer & accounting shizzle (bar the Villa one).

Wouldn't have him here, but could still regain his form and become lethal again in the right club & setup.
 
As I said no player in their right mind is choosing us over juventus. We need wide players that can take players on and provide good service for solanke.
 
Maybe we were in for RKM and maybe we weren’t.

If we were, I can imagine the conversation went as far as his agents saying that he quite fancied Juventus and us putting the phone down. Ange has said he only wants players who want to play for us. Who’d run through a wall to play for us. Flirting with Juventus doesn’t show that.

If we accept this to be the case, we are almost certainly going to have to keep shopping at a level lower than ourselves. High profile players like Kvara aren’t going to say it was their dream to play for Spurs and do what he can to sign. The likes of Solanke and Johnson know this is a great move for them and will do everything they can to sign.

Juve deal is a loan with no obligation.

But in any case it doesn’t matter. You can’t afford 4 years’ rent all in one go but it doesn’t matter because you only have to be able to afford your rent each month.

We can clearly afford his wages each month.
