Ex-Spurs Player Jermaine Jenas: Pundit

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Outside of a vague "complaint of inappropriate behaviour" what does anyone know?
Seems a tad odd to me that there's nothing setting out what he's been accused of or the validity of it whatsoever.

Why have you never liked him? I've found him quite refreshing over the years. Many levels above all the other bias wankers like Merson, Neville, Thompson, Smith etc etc etc.
Obviously, if he's done something wrong then he deserves what's coming. But let's not rule out a false accusation here and some one having a twitchy trigger finger because of other events.
He's still workin

I thought he was a very average yet very pompous footballer with obvious talent who was either too distracted or too scared to really apply himself. He always let us down and hid from matches at the worst times. Yes he’d be good in the press but he never seemed to get it on the pitch.

I always felt he was unfairly hated on at Spurs. He quite often stepped up and scored important goals. The interesting thing I found about him though, was that the team often played/performed better when he was in it, even if he didn't stand out on the day.
It was his injuries that held him back IMO, missed far too many games and it only got worse as his career went on.

This is the most gripping story coming out of football at the moment.

Think this might be a better thread than the transfers. With more happening.

Probably trying to shag a researcher or chat up the interns. Inappropriate behaviour is usually HR speak for he tried it on with somebody who told him to fuck off.
BBC News understands his contract was terminated because of alleged issues relating to workplace behaviour, after issues involving digital communications such as texts were raised with the corporation a few weeks ago.
If this is true you are probably not far off.

I was forced to sit through a day long session about appropriate behaviours at work etc. Not me personally, the whole company.
I did manage, when being told I can't even have thoughts about talking to anyone I have an interest in, that if that was the case, I wouldn't be a married man, with a child, a mortgage and a life. She looked quite thrown that, you know, 2 adults are capable of reading the room.
I agree :

But

TBF : I can’t see a wave of violent disorder taking place up a down the country over this ….but hey , I’ve been wrong before.
No, but a wave of incorrect social media rumours could ruin an innocent mans life.

100 % agree, and I agreed with the post I reacted to tbf .

I was being flippant .

To reiterate: I totally agree with what you ( and the OP ) are saying.

I hear you :

And yet , historically; more than 35% of people stated they had met their eventual spouses at work.

Plenty of professional female footballers and cricketers are in relationships / married to team-mates they met “ at work “ .

It’s a minefield and not the good sort of minefield IMO .
