Ex-Spurs Player Joe Rodon

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

He's had nothing to do. Was dragged out prior to the England goal but it wasn't his fault just really poor defense from the rest of the team.

To me he is quite like Skriniar. Both are very aggressive and likes to get in early while the opponent has their back to them. He also tends (or is instructed to) follow his man out of the area especially when they are likely to receive the ball.
More similar to S.Ramos than VVD, which is good, as VVD has some extraordinary traits to pull his style off.

None of our current CBs are very aggressive and the classic CB pairing is one aggressive and one holding the line. Which is probably why Mourinho has targeted the like of Skriniar and Rodon. Rudiger looks nothing like them so don't know about that one!

Obv. Ingest with a healthy dose of salt. I have barely watched either Skriniar or Rodon. Just a surface level analysis.

we need a left sided CH, we already have 4 right footed CH don't need another one unless Dier or Davidson are going

Watched a good bit of him over the past few days and he mostly plays on the left, very comfortably, he's a really good ball player. Undecided on the rest of his game but I've seen enough to think he'll be a good PL player. Hopefully he gets the full game against Ireland in a few days time, interesting to see him play against channel runners like Connolly/Long.
