Watched him last night and at first thought he was on the right but he did not stop the cross for the first goal. Apart from that not a lot to judge him on. Not sure why he went off at half time.

Watching him play vs Ireland. He's not been under too much pressure defensively, but his passing when he steps into midfield stands out. Some really incisive balls to pick out Ramsey. Not really learning a huge amount about his defensive game, Ireland aren't great.

Spurs opened negotiations on deadline day but the clubs remain apart on their valuation with five days remaining of the EFL window

Tottenham will step up talks over a deal for Swansea centre-back Joe Rodon but an agreement could go to the wire in the final week of the EFL domestic transfer window.

Spurs opened negotiations for the 22-year-old on deadline day for international transfers as there was a chance of registering him for the Europa League but the clubs remain apart on their valuation with five days remaining to strike an agreement.

Jose Mourinho added Gareth Bale, Carlos Vinicius and Sergio Reguilon to his squad during the summer window but wants a centre-back to complete his club’s business.

While the EFL extension has given them an extra 11 days to land Rodon, deals between Premier League with Championships clubs did not progress as players headed off on international duty, with chief executives working towards the Oct 16 deadline rather than moving swiftly.

Sounds like a Levy purchase. If Jose wanted him, surely he would want him now?
We will soon see how this pans out but I think the days of Levy demanding a player comes in and also the terms of his contract, regardless of the feelings of the manager are long, long gone. However Rodon comes to the club it will be with the mutual approval of both Daniel and Jose.
Let's not look for 'waves' when at the moment there isn't even a ripple on the smooth waters at Spurs.

Latest gossip :

"The Swans are hoping to secure Manchester City’s centre-back Joel Latibeaudiere, on a free transfer deal, and once this is a done deal, then and only then would Rodon be free to join José Mourinho"

It's too late for Rodon to be registered for our UEL squad and he would likely not get into our starting XI right away so probably the thought is we will let him continue to get gametime in the meantime until January and make sure we've got a deal in place (always more expensive in Jan as we know and if he's doing well they'd up their price).
