Management Johan Lange - Technical Director

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Levy is head of recruitment. He is the one who says yes or no. He has employed minions in key positions to hide behind.

With that said, Lange is fucking shit and has the charisma of a crusty sock.
100%. Doesn’t matter who the DOF is, they are handicapped by Levy. Until he’s gone, the DOF should escape criticism as he’s essentially the recruitment decision maker , and operational lead

Lange’s vision for the future of Tottenham Hotspur: Timo Werner, Radu Dragusin, Dominic Solanke, Lucas Bergvall, Wilson Odobert, Archie Gray, Antonio Kinsky, Mathys Tel, Kevin Danso, Mohammed Kudus, Joao Palhinha, Kota Takai.

So, aside from the two PL no brainers (who cost £120m combined and anyone could’ve signed), who stands out? Who looks like they could really become a top player? Bergvall, maybe. I like Danso’s solidity as a 3rd choice CB.

Everyone else? It all feels second rate, paint by numbers bullshit. There is no theme or vision behind these, it’s just getting affordable players. Got rinsed for huge fees for Gray and Tel too. Who are the future stars of Tottenham in this group? Whose face can you put on the stadium? Who’s going to sell tickets and pick up the team when they’re down?

We don’t know who the stars are because they’re mostly kids. How the fuck you gonna get upset that kids are still kids ?

You're a proper dickhead aren't you. (Yeh, that's name-calling in my part.... Hope you can tell the diff. now.)

I KNOW what his job title is thx...... "Technical Director"

However; in practice he may find himself undermined by those above him.

It wouldn't be the first time according to you likes of yourself would it?

Nor did I suggest he's merely some base level scout either, you disingenuous little man.
"If in truth he's more just a exec./head scout then yeah can't blame him for the broader vision."

He is more than an exec/head scout. He is head of recruitment. Obviously. So you did merely suggest.

No, you're being disengenuous, as per, in pretty much every post post you make. No one is going to a club to be the head of recruitment to be "an exec".

Also, check you out, name calling again. You know that's when you don't have an argument. You're good fun. I like you.

Why. Lange has spent a lot of money and frankly not one player hes bought is someone I'd be gutted to see leave. Whether youre spending 5m or 500m you can still be judged and Lange has been dreadful.

Buzzing for his video discussing the transfer window

He's obviously useless but we dont really know if he is going to Levy saying what about buying X player for Frank and Levy is saying no, too much money. One would assume Levy leaves Lange with one hand tied behind their backs like everyone else.

With less than 4 weeks to go in his 2nd summer transfer window let's take a quick look at his signings in the two summer transfer windows which is when all clubs do their main business and implement their plans.
We have signed 2 premier league ready players on permanent deals (solanke and Kudus), a 30 year old on loan whose current club are cutting their loses after only 1 year and then a bunch of kids.

We finished 17th last season but remarkably still have CL football this season and yet this is what we are ending up with.

Unforgivable it really is.

This is what you get when you take a data/moneyball approach.

I wonder if Paratici is getting in Lange's way, perhaps explaining why we can't get deals done. Paratici is an old school connections guy. Is he really trying to do deals outside the circles he has relationships in? If we come out of this window with no more than what we have Paratici should be sent packing.

Lol Paratici in Langes way. Lol Paratici doesn't appear to be involved at all. Its Lange Frank keeps name checking. I don't think Paratici came back on board fully and that's why it's been even harder to close deals. He couldn't convince Tel who Bayern were kicking out to join, Levy had dry his tears and take over 😢 🤣

I read something today that Paratici has been busy trying to sell Bryan Gil.
