Im sorry I can't be more optimistic, especially as Ive very recently gone right off the idea of Pochettino in any way coming back. But its the easy unimaginative flex that these dullards would pull. Manipulate the simpletons in the fan base who think the Lewis's are the Superman who drove out Levy's Lex and play direct to feels right.

I tell you why I think they have been in touch with him already...that transfer window is very weird until you flip it. So the big money talk stops, but they are still full chest talking about Semenyo.. yet no Andy Robertson, no this windows late window filler old lag.

but you see the odd punts on young players not the Brazilian lad he is six foot decent ball skills and physical (classic Pochettino fullback in the making) but the Scottish striker the Chelsea kid, these ones align with Gallagher as proof of Pochettino planning. They will fill U21 academy places that will be vacated by Mason Meila, Byfeild, Williams-Barnett. They will let him spend the standard amount and back him to use the academy and he'll jump the chance to get back to London.

I can see the argument made "its a Poch squad", Gallagher being a very obvious connection

But I dont think I credit the club with even that level of planning/forward thinking

And like you - Im not one who wants Poch back

"Reactive" has defined the club under Frank and the leadership above

I think thats far more likely to be the 'strategy' going ahead. IE, carry on blindly as we are, until a decision is made for them, then scramble to work out what to do next.... (at which point Poch will be an easy/lazy decision)

It's almost like the club is trolling us the fans. How oblivious can the club be towards the fans, and dare I say, even the players', sentiments? Ffs. Non of the management could read the fucking room.

If the vast majority of our ST holders and match-going fans didn't turn up for one or even two games, protesting very loudly outside the ground instead, promising they won't return til that fucking Woolwich inside man and that Danish pedo get the sack...maybe just maybe they'd get their P45.

Problem is, and ENIC knows that all too well, we'll never do that, we're like a junkie who knows crack is a death sentence but still won't quit.

We don't, and I doubt anyone at ENIC can even spell the word ambition. They just seem more interested in adding sporting directors rather than blokes who can put a ball in the back of the net.
