Amazing people don’t want paratici back, who actually brought in decent players but are happy with this bloke’s work. The cat was out of the bag for me when he couldn’t persuade Tel to join and needed Levy and Ange to step in and wipe his bum.

There are quite a few “data guys” who’ve got jobs at big football clubs who are way out of their depth.
It’s fucking easy to see which players excel in their positions by the stats. Most of the top clubs are after the same players. The skill is getting deals done and knowing which players you can weave together to form a whole greater than the sum of its parts.
Of these last two things Lange has shown no aptitude at all. He’s got no excuses now. His guy is the coach. If this season is a disaster they’ll both get shit canned.
I see zero harm in him continuing to do what he does in terms of scouting and data analysis.... The more effort on that front the better IMO.
If Fab (or someone else) is slicker than Lange (and Levy) in getting deals done then that's where the room for improvement lies.
Even if that all does get ironed out; it's no good lashing out at them like petulant kids if all ones frustrations truly amount to is "I want more money spent".
Paratici isn’t the answer either mate.
He brought in a few decent players but he also brought in some absolute lemons and was a driving force behind the nightmare manager search in the summer of 2021.
Lange is plop no doubt, but bringing “The Don” back certainly isn’t the way forward either.
Let Lange do his scouting thing but keep him away from the big deals. He probably is good at the data analytics and finding unknown cheap talents but he clearly has no business talking to the top players.
The amount of times Ange or Levy have had to jump in and save him when he was close to butchering a deal is crazy. Hopefully paratici takes over that part and Lange remains in the background.
