That list of Paratici signings includes all of the best passers at the club.

It's not like all of his signings were technically proficient (see: Emerson Royal), but in general the fundamental technical level of the squad improved from its Hitchen-era disgrace when he was making the moves.

It's been right back to the blunt instruments under Lange. Dragusin, Solanke, Gallagher, Kudus, Palhinha, etc.
 
For what it's worth the starting 11 lad on twitter and Hercules from SC both saying he's likely gone in summer.
Hope this doesn't cause too many people to have heart attacks over the complete shock you are likely to feel after reading that one of the most incompetent people to ever blag their way into a role is going to get sacked after getting 9th richest club in world relegated

That's annoying. I was really hoping we'd sack him in the summer.

Paratici though is getting away with it massively, 75% of the squad is filled with his picks and that's not to mention the ones we ended up selling Emerson, Gil, Gollini etc...

I know he was, I was just saying that in his first window without the influence of Paratici, he signed yet another non technical runner, so it's not like Paratici being around was an excuse. Our recruitment has been dogshit for years.

The rebuild we all thought was happening, which did happen, has been a disaster. We bought dud after dud. There's barely a single first team player I'd be gutted to see go which is staggering to say.

Paractici also had to work under Levy, who we all know was a control freak. So whilst I am not making excuses for FP, he was 100% hamstrung by working under Levy and no way did FP ever have full control to actual set out his own strategy. (Not saying if he had, we'd be any better off).

Not sure Pararici was influencing things either way, Lange was focusing on mainly youngsters when Paritici was around regardless.

If they are the best passers at the club then it's no wonder we're in this mess

There are no excuses for Paratici, he has been as big a disaster as Lange hads been.

However in the summer it seems the club tried to solve the lack of technical ability by attempting to sign Gibbs White, then Eze. They made a massive offer for Semenyo in Jan but of course he turned us down.

DoF and manager are more important than any player by far. De Zerbi and Freeman and I would have some confidence next season whatever league we are in. He also has championship experience.

De Zerbi and Freeman would be a big upgrade on Frank and Lange.

Hell why not let him run the entire club for a few years. He knows the club and could do with the money . It would be like when Diego Maradona tried to take control of Boca Juniors .

And it would certainly be exciting.
 
Club feels like it’s run by spreadsheet merchants. I honestly wouldn’t be shocked if Lange and Vinai are choosing the next transfer targets by ChatGPT.

Can we stop excusing Paratici, the guy left us with a a load of his mess, regardless of being hamstrung by Levy or not that doesn't stop you from profiling the right players and build a team adequately, just because he isn't here anymore doesn't mean that Lange has to take all the flak.

I literally said I wasn't making excuses for him. But the reality is our SDs always had to work within a tight remit to please Levy.
