Management Johan Lange - Technical Director

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I'll be a bit contrarian here.

Lange is in the wrong job. He's not someone who understands what makes a squad cohesive, how to manage the staff to get the best out of them, or how prospective signings fit in strategically.

However, he does sign some exceptional young players, and is good at identifying those likely to fulfill their potential and succeed in the Premier League. That's a large part of why Villa came good so quickly after his tenure. And we can see the same here. Gray, Bergvall, Vuskovic and Tel in particular look like they could all become absolutely top talents here.

I'm not against him staying IF it's alongside someone who can do a better job than Vinai or Paratici of building a cohesive overall structure that these talents can fit into.

I don't want Kehl here.

He has shown such limited approach while getting new players for Dortmund. No one understood why he focused so much Chelsea/British players, when they are way overpriced for the german market.
Another trick was just buying the best Stuttgart and Gladbach have available. And if nothing works, get in Sancho for another time.

Don't see anything that qualifies him to sort out our mess.

Hope this rumour is not true, especially when it says alongside Lange. He needs to go, no room for debate.

I assume they’ve outsourced this hire to the same company that went through hundreds of candidates to pinpoint Frank. Honestly, if you can get in the room with these idiots it’s so easy to sell them magic beans.
