I have no idea what we coach. Even AVB much as I disliked the football I could see a clear intent. I am not sure what the fuck we are and by the looks of it neither do the players.

100%. Our short passing game is dreadful, no intricate play or little triangles. No discernible 'style' of play or approach. It all looks thrown together with the hope Kane does something special. Don't even defend and do the low block well anymore

We are dreadful, predictable and I'm totally apathetic before games.

Most of those players you mentioned were playing well at their previous clubs but still can’t believe bale isn’t given a start plus reguilon won the europa last season personally I think mourinho is holding back to many players

Thing is with Kane, Son, Lucas and GLC you can by random get magic such as our first goal today. However it’s less predictable and not something that is reliable enough to win things.
 
I honestly appreciate the state of things during covid and money is too tight to mention etc. However, I am very surprised there's been no announcement tonight. Jose should have been sacked simply on the basis he doesn't get a chance at the league cup.

I still can't want us to lose a final, and will be willing us on to win the game. But TBH, can't see us beating Man City, unless they have a lasagnegate type of incident. If it gets him gone, then it will be a consolation.
 
Isn’t there something in the contract about the compensation being less if we don’t qualify for the Champions League? (Shouldn’t Champions have an apostrophe at the end?). If so, there’s no way he’s being sacked until the end of the season.

Agreed. My biggest concern is just swapping managers and thinking we've fixed the problem, and the next manager failing because of it too.

I agree. I have no idea at all what he is trying to achieve anymore, either tactically or in terms of do or die mentality. It makes more sense to think he is trying his hardest to fuck this up.
 
His philosophy (now savagely outdated) of football was only ever successful with the accompaniment of a conveyor belt of unlimited cash being thrown at it. There's no denying his track record but we all (so did he) knew Prudence controls our finances and he would have to operate under a severely restricted budget.

Putting my dislike of the man aside I wanted him to do well because of the obvious benefits to the team but it has pretty much panned out in the manner I expected, he hasn't improved our position from whence Poch was sacked and should face the consequences in the close season.

On a more serious note I have sent a food bank voucher to OGS's children.

He has to save his reputation and he has no shame in how he behaves.

He took Chelsea to 10th in his final time at Chelsea (well as corrected by someone else he was 16th got fired then Hiddink got them to 10th) then Conte got them the title the following season, he has been in decline for years and we have got him at his very very worst. He is not even a shadow of the man who did what he did at Porto.
