Divisive, boring, appalling man-manager, petulant, immature, egotistical, deluded.

Can't wait.

The man is a winner. Even with a terrible United team he won 2 trophies.

Of course the football will be more pragmatic and he will meltdown and get sacked within 3 years, but he knows how to win. We have never had a manager, at least during the PL era, who can walk into the dressing room and put his medals on the table. That might be what we need to get our players working hard again.

Mourinho is a prick of the highest order, he also plays shit football but you know what he is? A serial fucking winner, something this club has needed for a very long time, if he can even win us one trophy to cast this fucking nearly men tag off our shoulders once and for all then that's doing more for the club in the long run than any Eddie Howe could ever manage to do.

Even if Mourinho is only around for a few years and wins us some trophies then at least the mentality would have changed at the club for the next manager coming in, I am tired of the loser mentality running through the spine of this football club, the acceptance of mediocrity, it has to change.

We have this huge fucking stadium, champions league regulars now and yet some of our supporters still apparently want us to be the plucky underdogs and are just happy to see us consistently fail at winning trophies, if our owners get Mourinho in it will at least tell me their hearts are in the right place and they are serious about this club being very successful in the long term instead of just wanting top 4 but not giving a shit about winning anything.

And anybody having doubts about Mourinho, he won the EL with United and finished 2nd with that shit show of a club and that was considered a failure, what would that be considered right now for us?

The rebuilding job is a big one, we are losing high value players for nothing next summer. Whoever the new manager is will have to be smart and careful in the transfer market with not much money compared to our rivals. That's not Mourinho

No we'ee not.

Alderweireld and Vertonghen were fantastic. Were. Rose? Joke.

Eriksen okay but only his age suggests it's mental more than physical.

Mourinho’s teams don’t play shit football. That’s just what we opposing fans like to throw at him as a defence of him always beating us (virtually always) I’m pragmatic to realise that a team that contained Robben, Crespo, Joe Cole, Lampard, Drogba, Essien etc was not shit. It’s the same mantra we hid behind in the past with Woolwich. Yeah they win stuff but our football is better. It feels like a poor excuse these days.

Anyone who saw Brighton hand our arses to us recently knows what shit football looks like.

All that said, I am not entirely sure Jose is the answer when Levy is the chairman.

IMO it is almost definitely going to be Mourinho, the fact the announcement didn't say 'person x has been placed in charge of first team affairs while we search for a replacement' means they already know who it is, and Mourinho is the only one being heavily rumoured and his betting odds are extremely short. The media most likely already know who it is but can't report it yet.
