I’m not sure he is the man to make Spurs a good side challenging for trophies but, like you I want to see it happen.
My reservations are probably like a lot of others in that I’m not sure if his approach will pay dividends, his second spell at Chelsea and his time at Man United both ended badly and you see how United have improved since he left.
Not only that but under an unproven manager with no track record.
In saying all that, I’m willing to back him and hope he is the man to turn things around.
But even in a poor spell at Utd he still won the Europa and league cup
