If Mourinho doesn't get top 4 with this squad it's a failure.
A knee jerk reaction to getting 25 points from his last 24 games- doesn’t seem all that knee jerk. Albeit not helped by Eriksen‘s apparent refusal to try the project had burnt itself out. As for the new mentality at the club that Mourinho has brought I think we have to hang fire with that at the moment because things may be about to regress unfortunately.

Utd is worse at every position outside of the 10 and RB and coached by a hobbit.
Chelsea is being coach by Frank Lampard and has a defense that would look good in the Championship.

ive said a thousand times but we are paying this guy millions to produce a winning team yet he has got us to play the football of a lower division team and have no idea of what to do with the ball. Does he work on set pieces as well as most are terrible. I don’t really see any coaching in our style of play other than just get everyone behind the ball. There are tons of managers who have far less talented players than ours yet they can produce teams who can move the ball and creat chances. How many do we actually create in a game if you take out corners. Plus it’s basically a long ball punt.
the hypocrisy with some fans is incredible. I remember the WBA game at Wembley and everyone was booing their goalie for taking so long with goal kicks at 0-0. Them even worse at 1-0. Yet we do the same shite. We slow the game down so much it’s like we have wasted half the game found absolute bugger all. I don’t agree with this, but even if I did, why are we paying a manager 15m a year if he can’t compete with teams that have marginally better players? You’re basically suggesting he adds no value to the squad.
And the reason this doesn’t add up is he’s doing great against City, Utd, Chelsea and Liverpool. It’s his inability to coach a team to retain the ball against West Ham, Palace, Everton and Leicester that’s the problem.
Toby is better than any United CB, he is better than Stones who has played regularly for City, he is better than anyone not named Thiago for Chelsea, he is better than Evans at Leicester. The only question would be Liverpool, I like him a lot better than Gomez but I know Gomez is a golden boy for them so who knows.
Hugo is better than every keeper except for maybe Alisson, maybe Pep keeps Ederson because he wants a mF in goal but Lloris is a better keeper.
Lo Celso is much better than Tielemans so easily starts there, he is as good as of the guys Chelsea rotates in their MF, better than the guys they play at United. he is a hell of a lot better than Gundogan who plays a lot for City.

totally agree I bet they don’t even practise that in training! All they do must be counter attacks.
For the money his paid he has offered nothing revolutionary in tactics fitness subs or anything. I swear his just picking his trillions a week and having a good old laugh at levy saying he must be mad. If anyone can say he justifies his salary and that a manager on a quarter of his salary could have achieved the same number of points as we have now then they are deluded. As some already said 2nd worse start to season in points terms since 2015.
