I think it would give everyone a boost if he was sacked over the international break and Sacramento took over for the rest of the season. Look at the effect it had on Man Utd last season, and Chelsea before that. The players will be coming in to work with a smile on their faces.

He’s not going anywhere.

One thing I do wonder though. He has a champions league bonus for getting us into the competition in his contract. What if there’s an escape clause in the summer letting us amicably part ways in the summer?

I only say that because he’s on a huge contract and I can’t see levy leaving himself open to a huge pay off should he have to sack Mourinho during the term of the contract.

We'll they seem to have a big problem with how Jose threw Ndombele under the bus so publicly. They consider his football ugly and his attitude just as ugly. To them a nice guy like Poch would never have done that to Ndombele and probably deep down think someone like Nuno wouldn't do it either

He has 3 years left on his contract - pretty sure Poch had 3 1/2 left when he was sacked, so it's not completely out of the question.

Mate, that happened (rightfully or wrongly - Klopp & Pep gave done it too... Wilder too) 5 days ago.... Jose's been cunted off for not being the Tottenham Way since his arrival....

....You're not suggesting shitty football under a nice guy exterior would sufficiently placate them are you?

That might have been the guy we had when we started, but it certainly wasn't the guy we had as of about a year ago.

Pumping everyone's tires works in the right situation. This thing is so far gone right now that a different approach probably wouldn't have any different results.

This team has failed miserably in their recruitment over the past 4 years. Looking at the squad, our best players are all guys recruited within the first 12 months of Pochettino's appointment as manager. Nothing we've added over the last five years has made any tangible impact on the squad's performance.

The defense is old and washed up, the midfield is severely lacking talent without Eriksen, Dembele and Wanyama (prior to his knee issues), and our attack is missing about half our goals right now without Kane and Son.

This team is a shell of the one we had three years ago, and the primary reason for that is because for five years we haven't brought in a single world class player. That's just shocking for a team who claims to have any ambition to win titles.

It is probably a factor. However he’s also got an underdog to perform above their level without an eye-watering spend in the transfer market. The last time you could say the same about Jose was about 20 years ago. If levy had been realistic with himself then he would have realised Jose was not the one for us as there were too many clashes in approach.

The club have a direction in mind, I definitely don't think Jose's style of play suits it, but he did bring in big exposure. I seriously doubt the club will go in for all the players Jose wants and I'm scared what that could lead to.

It's quite an accomplishment making millionaire football players miserable which he has managed to accomplish in his last 3 jobs and already in the process of doing here. As soon as he goes these player's spirits are suddenly lifted.

I think Jose's comment is being mis-construed. He was speaking more about numbers, than quality of their bench players. He was making the point that he would take their entire bench, because our bench had hardly 1-2 fit senior players on it. I don't think at all he was saying their bench is better than our entire squad.

You made it sound like motivating players was easy since all Wilder has to do is say it's the world vs us. Then the players are willing to run through brick walls for him. Whereas we have Ndombele who looks like he wouldn't even walk up to the wall under Jose.
