Also im not talking about life getting in the way of watching spurs. That happens. Im talking that if theres 2 matches are on you can watch both and one is spurs you would switch over to the other if spurs dont entertain you
On the Amazon documentary last season in one of his half time talks he was saying stop playing shit side and back passes

The whole narrative of boring Joseball ignores some basics which the Jose haters and pundits are either too dim or too stubborn to comprehend. Allow me to bore you to death.
We started off the season a lot higher up the pitch and it brought us some fun football which included the Manure and Soton results. After the West Ham incident it became apparent that we were leaking goals. Something that has happened since Jose came in and with Poch before him. With a higher line we need a fast centreback who is good on the ball and can be everywhere at once. That would be Sanchez. The same Sanchez who had an absolute stinker against Wet Spam and has rarely been seen since in the prem.
Since that clusterfuck of a game we have sat back. Dier and Toby rarely get forward and we have Sissoko covering for Serge on the right. In spite of resent results it has worked and our defense was one of the best in the league since then. If not the best.

You think a supporter must only watch Spurs if they are on TV even if there are other matches on.
I am not a fan if I am watching another game while the Spurs game is on in the background. That is your belief, not mine.

This is complete and utter tosh mate. To insinuate we don’t have the players to keep the ball against Leicester, Palace, WBA, Brighton and Burnley is quite frankly crazy.
If you’ve watched Spurs this season it’s been easy to see for the majority we have been a deep lying team with a desire to counter at speed. To think Jose is training and instructing us to play tikka taka but we don’t have the players is quite frankly absurd.

I just watched city cruise past goons. What I see is a team with a desire to win the ball back. Plus what they do is try to win it just inside their own half with their midfielders or the attackers do it. Fernandinho done it a few times and his 35. The midfielders don’t drop so deep joins the back 4. Whereas our CM drop into back 4 making it a 6 and the rest of the tram dont press. Now if Fernandinho can do it surely sissoko can? Just move the CMs up out if the back 4 and tell they to press from there that way if they win the ball they are closer to the forwards to counter. How many times we see son pick the ball up just outside our own box and try to run with it. Alternatively we try to past it out from their deep in our own half but bcos the oppo his high up they can press us and win the ball back unless we hit it long. This has been what’s happening recently in losing the ball so cheaply when we have it deep in our own half winning the ball on the edge of our box. City a passing possesion team work harder than we do in winning the ball back. So we need to A) work harder and put extra effort to win the ball back and B) get there CMs to press and try to win the ball back a bit higher up around the centre circle line in our half and not at the edge of our box.
But we just beat them. Why should we take our tactics from them?
