It's the last 16 2nd leg - what do you expect?
I didn't say I was expecting him to play them, I was pointing out the countless fans that were. I knew his talk about developing young players is just hot air that he blows up our arses.

I mean just look at all those mins he handed to the lads pre-last 16:

He didn't play any against Shkendija
None against Plovdiv
None against Royal Antwerp (A)
None against Lask (H)
None against Maccabi Haifa
Against Ludogorets (H) Tanganga played 90mins, Clarke 22mins, White, Scarlet and Whiteman 8 mins each.
None against Ludogorets (A)
Royal Antwerp (H) Tanganga played 90mins
Lask (A) only Tanganga 90mins
RZ Pellets WAC (H) - Lavinier 16mins, John 9mins, Scarlet 9mins
RZ Pellets WAC (A) - None
Dinamo Zagreb (H) - None

What players would you have played? And in what games?

What's the point of that question?

I didn't expect Jose to play our kids, he doesn't do this, never really has despite his claim he doses in his press confs. So MY expectation was he wouldn't play our kids. BUT Spurs fans up and down the country were looking forward to seeing our kids make a breakthrough this year because they believed playing against muck in the EL that this would happen (as it doesn't in the CL).

If I was manager, I'd have played fucking loads of them. Rested the Snr players, rotated the Snr Players in the league and other comps, played attacking, entertaining football and won every game 10-0 in the process. That's what I would have done.

I asked which players and in what games so you didn't give me an answer but no worries.
If you think I'm going to waste my time doing that you are having a laugh! Again, what for? What is the purpose of knowing what team I would have picked for each game? To make it easy for you, I would have played every game with the entire outfield 11 made up of academy players. There fascinating ain't it?

Anyone denying the regression of play under Poch during his last 16 months is as much a denier of fact as these Pro-Jose folks.
You mean the 16 months that started after the "summer of nothing"? The summer during which Poch was begging for players and we got none to reinforce our MF and he tried to salvage by going over the MF amongst other tactical choices?

So if that is a "yes" to my previous questions then would you say a fair assessment of that time would be to say there was a 'regression of play' or that the team was shit and he was doing the best that he could after being hung out to dry by Levy after publicly acknowledging that the team needed to be "painfully rebuilt"?

And I would go as far as saying the signs began back in Jan 2018. Team played much harder in the CL than they did in the league. That disparity in effort needs to be addressed with competition...we he never got.

That is all true, but that doesn't deny the fact that the product shifted and Poch was the manager at the time and was losing all control of the "project". No one should deny the ineptitude of the board over that stretch, but Poch still had responsibility on his hands.
