And the Portuguese league is 3 good teams and a bunch of horrific ones. I'm not sure doing well there is the best judge of a top level manager.

At the time i thought 2 titles for Sporting and well on course for a 3rd at a club that hadnt won it in 20 years was seriously impressive, that despite constantly losing players. I also loved their performance against Woolwich in knocking them out of the Europa and thought they did well against us in the champions league. But yes, he does seem pretty inflexible and that would never work under Levy as we saw with Conte and obviously now as well. We have to have a proper coach who is adaptable.

Why do we even consider throwing away the chance of winning Europa when our league position is so bad now? I'm quite sure Ange is not going to win this last cup competition we are in.
Been telling people for months he won't win anything at all out of a league rate higher than 24th in world football. He's completely out of his depth. The still in cups thing was magical thinking. Look at the form.

You or I could do a better job than Ange. Complete charlatan. Anyone is an improvement. No manager would be an improvement.
Silva would be able to do better than Ange under the constraints every ENIC Spurs manager has placed upon them.

Every manager ENIC has employed has done better than Ange. I'm so tired of people blaming this entire mess on ENIC. We were far better than this before Ange showed up.
