Legend Ledley King

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

still one of the greatest defender yet most tragic storys like every time he was about to become the best Devender in the country he would get injured again

I can not explain to the kids that think Romero is great. He is good. King was the best Centerback I've ever seen. He basically hit I think he was 23 and he just stopped getting beat. He was quick as VDV good in air as Dawson as good on the ball as Vertonghen and strong as Romero and he was all this whilst basically disabled. Utter freak. But let's be real his injuries kept him at Spurs no way teams don't come for him without the knee issue.

His training was basically the gym, according to Redknapp.

Ledley would have been our greatest and one of the greatest English defenders of all time had he been able to stay fit.

When even ultra Gooner Thierry Henry said he was the hardest defender he ever played against, you know he was good.

Rio Ferdinand said the same, acknowledged he was incredibly unfortunate with injuries and would of won so many more England caps had it not been for that.
