Levy In or Levy Out

Spurs is a manager’s graveyard. It is a club where the shadow of Levy lingers over all and inhibits all. It is a club that relies on an excuse culture. It is a club that refuses to commit. It is a club that backs away from any vision that does not pay due reverence to the god of the deal. There is always a caveat. There is always a catch. It is a place where managers go to be unhappy.

OOF! That's a spicy meatball!
He could also be talking about his unrequited love towards his mother, tbh.

I am jealous of how well said that is.

No question that managers careers take a down turn here, but once they leave they normally do ok again.
Jose won again, and Conte will be a success again, only spurs under the ring master aren't.
The new manager search is largely academic, the poor cunt, will struggle to make his mark against the big boys.

There's reporting on this and I posted it some time ago but CBA to find it now. It clearly implicated the potential selling of the club as the reason behind the Sammy-summer...and it suggested that one of the groups was of Saudi origin...I posted it here to counter the typical "Levy will only sell to unicorn farmers" that goes on around these parts.

That summer was always fishy and I'm sure covid didn't help. But the interesting part of that article was that the numbers being offered were like half of any of the numbers bandied about this forum

Our current paralysis and lack of anything approaching a medium term strategy, let alone a long term one, smacks of an ownership that is looking to sell.

Even Munn’s appointment, and his heralded ‘multi club’ experience could simply be to advise potential suitors on how to set that model up. Even put in place the green shoots of such a network, to make us more attractive.

No organisation of Spurs’ fiscal revenue can be this passive. It’s not tenable.

There are just some days you just feel incredulous at how badly we're run and how they get away with it. I mean its always there but occasionaly you just think what the actual fuck are they doing, how can you be this terrible and repeat mistakes so often. It almost feels like its sabotage at this point.

I'm not sure they're even mistakes tbh.

The decisions taken have all bought levy the breathing space to grow our commercial opportunities.

Where we are right now feels very much 'by design'

Maybe but 70 days to appoint Nuno couldn't have been part of any plan, or ignoring the accusations on Paratici, appointing Stellini, not going for Poch or Naglesmann, 50 days and counting without a manager now etc. This doesn't buy him time, it just highlights his and the boards utter incompetence and how they're unfit for the job.

Would have been forced out of a PLC by shareholders years ago. Slippery, incompetent rats
