True but it’s down to the manager to ensure the club has at least one striker.
Not throwing Parrot in is also pissing me off to be honest

If the money is there like it has been with a -€141m net spend across 2 windows, the 5th highest net spend in the world then ultimately the money was there, it was just used to deliver in other areas deemed a bigger neccesity than a forward was.

We can blame the money men only so much when looking at the facts of a net spend this season. The long and short of it is 8th most valuable club spends 5th most amount of money season 19/20.

I’m not actually against our spending policy one little bit, but I feel Jose looked at the two midfielders as long term options for Eriksen and Dele when we needed a short term option for Kane, and now Son

He has also said he couldn't be more proud of the boys. Doesn't sound like dissatisfaction to me.

Anyone with any knowledge of football knows Spurs will not be the same without both Kane and Son. Mourinho when he says what he says is just stating the obvious.
Because you can be satisfied by the effort of the players but dissatisfied by the quality of players you have to work with. No offence but you are usually very wrong. You thought all was fine with the previous managers relationship with levy & also the quality of our players. I heavily disagreed with you going back all that time. The manager got sacked & we have gone backwards on the pitch. So I am sorry if I don't have much faith in your opinion. Your usually optimistic but wrong. We are going backwards I'm afraid under levy from where we were a few seasons ago.

Don't worry sweetheart, I won't be losing any sleep because scott scott doesnt have faith in things I say and see and is of the opinion that I'm usually wrong. As for the previous quality of our players..... they made a Champions League final didn't they? Just saying mate.

Teams will continuously go forwards on occasions and backwards. We went on a horrendous run after we lost to Burnley back in January last year but prior to that we were within a couple of points of top spot in the league but sadly our managers head went, as did the players. We are the 6th biggest club in the country, we have no god given right to have had the 4-5 seasons we have just experienced and if you like it or not, the club has over achieved based on its status in the English game. Football ain't what is was in the 90s. Teams like Chelsea and Man City have made it all the harder to win things and if offered, I'd take the last 4-5 years we've had again all over right now.

What you deem as successful and reasonable growth is different to what I deem as reasonable and successful growth. That doesn't make you right and me wrong and vice versa sunshine. I personally see nearly 2 seasons away at Wembley and staying in the top 4 as a success, I see trainsitioning into the new stadium and getting to a Champions League final in a season where we had to navigate past Barcelona, Inter Milan, PSV Eindhoven, Borussia Dortmund, Man City & Ajax as a success, I see our off field growth and how it will allow us to grow on the pitch as a success. They may not have been the pinaccle of successes we all strive for but they are all hugely positive things we have achieved that have set us up to continue to punch at the level we'll have done. You disagree so I'm sure you won't mind me saying but honestly mate I couldn't care less if you don't have much faith in my opinions pal.

As for Jose, he had £30m given to him in January and chose to not spending it on a striker. Our previous manager despite the apparent unrest at the club was given the opportunity to bring in £150m's worth of players, more than anyone in charge of THFC has ever been given to spend. Neither manager has opted to spend said money on a striker so I ask you, as the 5th biggest NET spenders this window and last, is the man with the money really to blame for our lack of a striker or is it the person(s) spending that money?

We shall see as always. Hopefully you will be right, but I think we have gone as far as we can with these lot in charge.

Levy and ENIC are the best targets for the ire of some. Namely, because they don't perform or make public decisions all failings can nebulously be attributed them whilst all successes can conveniently be credited as overcoming them. Furthermore, because they own the club and will unlikely sell, they're the punching bag that literally will not disappear. Players and managers will come and go, but, no matter what, every ill fortune will be due to Levy and ENIC.

The discussions will bore on.

Maybe a more public facing director or owner would appease people? Maybe this bloke hits the mark for them, West Ham's co-owner David Gold:

Surely you're not saying you're a better judge of Parrots ability than 22 x trophy winner Jose Mourinho?
Better judge no but we don’t have a striker, and despite backing Jose I don’t feel the need to suckle up to him like he’s my daddy and pretend he never fucks up.

He should be playing a DM and he should have taken a striker for the short term.

It’s not a sect mate....he’s not my friend or my miracle worker he’s just the manager of the club I love. He’s a big boy....if he makes mistakes I’m happy to point them out rather than blame the chairman for our only DM being on the bench while teams bum fuck us.

So what you're saying then is that you are, indeed, a better judge of team selection than 22 x trophy winner Jose Mourinho

If it gets to 82 & levy goes, surely its fate.

This (bizarre in my opinion) argument that it's actually Mourinho's fault that we didn't sign a striker in January doesn't hold up in the case of Willian José, who it's safe to assume our manager wanted (it's a fair bet that there was contact between Mourinho or one of his Portuguese-speaking staff and the player and/or his people, not to mention him ticking all the typical "Mourinho striker" boxes) and where by every account negotiations broke down over the money we were prepared to pay

Something doesn't add up with the Willian Jose situation. There's something a little iffy about it all if what you're saying is true about the £22m fee. Maybe we baulked at it, maybe the media are causing a stir I honestly don't know how best to conclude it but clearly something went on.
