Some don’t understand that he doesn’t have the option but to come back to us and I’m pretty sure he’ll be excited to get back and play in the premier league rather than Bundesliga 1 or fighting relegation in the Bundesliga again.

Agree, it's much more exciting fighting relegation in the Premier League

Let’s see if he’s actually ready for the prem

Hype is just hype. It means fuck all until we see him actually play in the premier league.

Hes rated as an elite talent for a reason but it’s better to be rational about the best decision to develop him into a an elite CB, than getting all emotional about the hype.
Are you alright? You’re the last person I’d expect to dial down the hype.

Where is the real Richard Arlison? I think your account has been hacked. 😉

What do people think of our defence with him, but without Romero, and £70m additional funds and £200k p/w to spend on creative and attacking players?

I'd rather keep Romero and have Vuskovic in the squad next season tbh, though I don't think the above is a disaster at all IF the funds were genuinely additional to anything else we can spend.

Sadly we know that won't be the case.

It’s a weird situation. We genuinely have a wonderkid, a Pedri type talent for his position with all of Europe watching to see his development so if Romero did get sold we would have an instant replacement which is not the norm with ENIC (see Son). But if we kept Romero we would have the best back 3 in the league in Romero, Vuskovic and VDV which is something we could build on.

And invest in an elite GK and LW and we would be in the top 4

Let them sell Romero.

He's been average at best.

Whilst I some what agree, we have had seriously crippling injuries all season so there has never been a settled team, consistency is everything, we cannot hope to have consistent results with the huge injury list, all season we have been sending out patched up teams, Romero is still an elite CB, and given a settled, consistent team I am sure he would also be more consistent, if I was playing in front of that clown in goal I would shit my pants more often than not.

Romero is still an elite CB

I disagree regarding Romero's quality.

I don't trust him to play in this team going forward tbh.

His 'mistakes' , discipline and form on the pitch is not good enough.

His public comments off the pitch are helping nobody but Romero.

Romero has made himself a divisive figure within the club.

For what it is worth; I don't think Romero is the only bad apple in this dressing room.

Vicario and Porro are both taking the piss out of Spurs in my opinion.

Not sure if it is loyalty to Paratici; therefore indirectly to Levy, but we need them gone from the club.

All 3 as soon as possible.
