I think the whole country will! Let’s go there with some arrogance and be physical , packet and clinical. Basically we want a performance that combines 2nd half v soton, 1st half b toon and 2nd half b chelski. Let’s not sit back and be timid as that risks any cross / shot leading to a pen either through handball or a clumsy challenge. We have always been better on the front foot rather than sitting back inviting pressure.

Don´t get me wrong, United had a full week to prepare (we are in the opposite situation) and it´s going to be a very, very difficult match for us - I´d say it´s an unfair match, really.

But Ole "Dier" himself today and ran away of every question regarding Jose.

Gosh, it’s quite difficult to listen to Ole. He’s so boring after the first few press conferences. I feel like he says the same things over and over.

I definitely notice a bit more uncertainty in his responses recently. Hope that uncertainty and lack of energy influences his players.

Only after we get a goal disallowed for being 1 metre over the goal line and the cameras weren’t believed

Remember the mid-90's?

It seemed as though every time the away team took the lead at Old Trafford, one of the following would happen:

- it would be disallowed
- United would be given a penalty a few minutes later
- the officials would allow the game to continue until United equalised

Liverpool seems to be the club now that can rely on the officials for help but United in the mid-90's was on another level altogether.

They were the best team, undoubtedly but the decisions that went for them always pissed me off.

Can't say about that time, but it seems almost the same now. Everygame they get a soft pen to save them, almost the same with Liverpool. Also Chelsea had a lot of decision in their favour since a long time. I remeber we got screwed by the ref agains them and lost UCL in one season.

A prime example of the bias in United's favour was 1994/95.

Their main title rivals were Blackburn, so their two league games played a major part in the title race.

In the game at Ewood Park, Blackburn were leading 1-0 and were comfortable.

Then United get given a ridiculous penalty (just on half-time to change the whole complexion of things), PLUS Blackburn's keeper is sent off.

Suddenly, it's 1-1 and United are a man up. The game has been completely turned on its head.

United win 4-2.

Then there's the game at Old Trafford.

United take the lead with 10 minutes to go.

BUT....

Blackburn equalise in the last minute!!!

Question of Sport moment... What happened next?

Yeah, you guessed it...

It's disallowed... and wrongly as well.

Of course, it fucking is!!

Overall outcome: The title race swings nine points towards United on the basis of those two incorrect decisions.

Blackburn deserved huge credit for still managing to win the title under those circumstances.

I agree it still happens.

But with United back then, it was something else altogether - particularly at Old Trafford where the officials allowed themselves to be intimidated by the fans and by Ferguson.
