Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Just a simple question ,what has stambouli done wrong ,today the homework was done ,walker if you had run a video of his last six games he is of the pace and his decision making is poor ,since he came back he is not the same player.you may disagree but Townsend is not a top four player, mason today was found out our right side maybe due to inexperience or communication were slaughtered ,the worrying fact is ,and it hurts us to say these players are not the quality that is required to sustain a realistic challenge to give us CL football on a regular basis .

Sadly, the evidence today suggests Poch might end up 7th & more than 10 points off Top 4 and that would be worse than Tim & far worse than AVB. I honestly find the past month so depressing, because it's possible to feel the hope again, but today is inexplicable AGAIN & the worry is that if it all implodes where does that leave us ?
We've progressed so much since last season. Whereas last year we were getting beaten by Chelsea, we beat them 5-3, we've beaten the scum. We can now actually win against the big teams. We've reached a cup final, regardless of the fact it was an easy run there. Last year we failed to beat West Ham in the quarters, this year we got past a team arguably better in Newcastle. Last year we were out of the top 4 race, this year we're still in it. I firmly believe that under Tim or AVB last year, we would have lost this game to United 6-0 had the circumstances been the same. Poch has done so much with a team he inherited from the two past manager who failed miserably. I firmly believe he is the right man for us and there are many reasons to be positive.

With 4th place gone and a top 7th spot pretty much secured, Poch should just try out different players and tactical options. I don't see us selling 10 players or something. Players that we are likely to keep(Capoue, Stambouli and Dembele) should be given chances to prove themselves in the remaining games.

The 5-3 win against Chelsea, the phenom that is Harry Kane and beating the scum has somewhat glossed up a shit season.

We're on course for our lowest point tally in 5 seasons, got knocked out of Europa with a whimper & lost a cup final. That Europa loss in particular really hurts especially considering the extra incentive to win it but we put all our eggs in the League and now our Top 4 race is all but over.

This is true if you ignore the fact that we have been playing the youngest team in our PL history. You've to get to a cup final to lose it, and we went out of Europe because of the cup final

Oh do fuck off

Poch is the man
Who has crafted the plan
To take us all the way
Using his style of play

Faith is needed
Support is required
So when its is called upon
We will sing the loudest by far

We made the EL 'the' priority by playing a weakened team? Interesting way to make something a priority

Seven first teamers played and the entire first squad travelled. While Chelsea had 8 days rest, our players were on flights, staying in hotels, training in a foreign country and playing a game. If we used the whole squad, they wouldnt have had too exhaust themselves and then play again 68hrs later.

Tired legs, tired minds, and the exact same 11 as the new years day game.

Revolutionary thinking.

Before the fiorentina away game, everybody said the same thing. Pochettino will be damned whatever he does. Play a strong side in Italy, and it would be throwing away the cup final. And vice versa.

We didn't lose to Chelsea in the final because of the European game. We lost because we don't have the quality they have. The 5-3 was because they didn't come prepared. They knew all about our strengths in the final and they made sure their defence was watertight.

It can be frustrating to see the lack of rotation and players not being used at all. But on the other hand it does seem like there has been a problem with players not being able, or perhaps unwilling?, to play the way the manager wants.

Ultimately we have a squad of mostly average players and you can hardly say Pochettino is underperforming, regardless of whether he rotates enough. Adebayor and Kaboul aren't the saviours, let's be honest. Kaboul is not a name I want to see on the pitch. Adebayor has been anonymous so, so many times. Just like Soldado. The playing staff at the club has been poorly selected for years now, at least Poch is giving young Spurs players so much opportunity and has given us plenty of joyful moments this season. Who honestly expected top four back in September?

He himself said it, but at the end of the day, he got it all very wrong.

We were never going to win two cups this year, so why jeapordise both?

I agree that we took too many first teamers. But the team that he played in the cup final is clearly his first team, and only 5 of those played in Florence, one of them being a goalkeeper. We went half-arsed at it and fucked ourselves for both tournaments, but it certainly wasnt 'the' priority

You got a point there...we ended up prioritising neither really.

Should have been full strength in at least one, and for me, that was the CC as we were already there.

Lets not kid ourselves here, we made a mess of the EL in the first leg. And winning it was not about glory, it was about playing CL next year.
