Same as Everton , we both went skint at exactly the wrong moment in timeWhat the fuck happened to Spurs then John?
We were one of the big 5 pre Prem.

He could do a lot worse than that.
Not a bad shout, that.
That’s landing on your feet if he ends up there from the chavs.
The Premier League will try to thread the needle, penalizing City enough to say they've addressed the situation but not enough to call into question the legitimacy of City's run of championships. And if they pull that off they should then go and negotiate peace in the Middle East. Now that I agree with...
IF the Prem show the same level of commitment as they've done with Everton and Forest.
If ...
Americans shouldn't own Premier League teams. And I'm speaking as an American.Thank goodness for that. I couldn't bear watching him in their colours.
Strange decision by their board, as Poch seemed to have developed a good team. Clearly, Boehly's ego is bigger than his brain.
Not that I want him back, think that ship has sailed. But I wish him no ill wherever he ends up.
Shrewd.I put a fiver on him to be the new Bayern manager yesterday at 20/1
Perhaps. But he had us playing the best football in decades at our peak. It was a marvellous time.So outside a few cups won in the French farmers league with PSG and the illustrious Audi cup, this guy is basically the definition of a "specialist in failure".
I think it's possible to understand that he was hampered by some anaemic spending (as all Spurs managers are really) and that he was also quite capable of making some really stupid tactical decisions (Son at left back in a semi-final against the Chavs).Perhaps. But he had us playing the best football in decades at our peak. It was a marvellous time.
He did have a first XI capable of doing great things here but lack of depth ruined us. And that’s down to zero transfers for 2 years. And playing an unfit Kane in the final of the CL. Plus selling Dembele mid season when he should have been wrapped in cotton wool and rolled out for the massive games.
Nobody will ever convince me otherwise that a rested and invigorated Dembele would have stopped a lot of the rot.
Amazing player and whilst he was undoubtedly not someone we could call upon twice a week at that stage of his career, he was a game changer who could maul teams with his ability to keep possession at the most important times.
