Manager Mauricio Pochettino

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

6th place was an impressive finish with all the problems he had. Not sure why the Chelsea board wanted to throw all that work down the toilet. I thought they were on course to push for top 4 next season but they clearly prefer to have the team in crisis instead. Crazy.

Thank goodness for that. I couldn't bear watching him in their colours.
Strange decision by their board, as Poch seemed to have developed a good team. Clearly, Boehly's ego is bigger than his brain.
Not that I want him back, think that ship has sailed. But I wish him no ill wherever he ends up.

He was dead to me when he agreed to join them cunch of bunts but now he's departed my love for him has been resurrected unlike for that bug eyed twat Jesus Judas Perez.....wonder what shirts his kids will be wearing next.

Those who contend he's never won anything should check his bank account, he's taken the bald one and Boehly to the cleaners on his todd.

All the united fans I know said they would take him as manager, he would get time and financial backing.
Most Liverpool fans would take him over sloth too.
Maybe he might get the juventus job?

Now that I agree with...

IF the Prem show the same level of commitment as they've done with Everton and Forest.

If ...
The Premier League will try to thread the needle, penalizing City enough to say they've addressed the situation but not enough to call into question the legitimacy of City's run of championships. And if they pull that off they should then go and negotiate peace in the Middle East.

Americans shouldn't own Premier League teams. And I'm speaking as an American.

So outside a few cups won in the French farmers league with PSG and the illustrious Audi cup, this guy is basically the definition of a "specialist in failure".
Perhaps. But he had us playing the best football in decades at our peak. It was a marvellous time.
He did have a first XI capable of doing great things here but lack of depth ruined us. And that’s down to zero transfers for 2 years. And playing an unfit Kane in the final of the CL. Plus selling Dembele mid season when he should have been wrapped in cotton wool and rolled out for the massive games.
Nobody will ever convince me otherwise that a rested and invigorated Dembele would have stopped a lot of the rot.
Amazing player and whilst he was undoubtedly not someone we could call upon twice a week at that stage of his career, he was a game changer who could maul teams with his ability to keep possession at the most important times.

Surely the Chelsea board wouldn't have wanted him to go, I feel like Poch has jumped rather than been pushed surely? Could be the transfers, I was thinking maybe he's fed up with trying to win the fans over who will be baying for his blood with every bad result regardless of how well he does, his association with us means he would have to win more than any predecessor to become one of "their" own, and maybe he didn't really want to be anyway? I don't know, I never really wanted to wish him any ill, the memories of his team still sit very fondly in my head, I'm glad it's been limited to one season with them cunts and they didn't win anything, now it can go down as a purely monetary decision.

Did anyone else notice in his farewell statement he thanked the board but not the fans??? Very telling.

I think it's possible to understand that he was hampered by some anaemic spending (as all Spurs managers are really) and that he was also quite capable of making some really stupid tactical decisions (Son at left back in a semi-final against the Chavs).

We should have won (something) with the squad we had at the very least, lesser squads have certainly achieved it and didn't get knocked out by fucking Colchester in the league cup.

His football was nice to watch, but that can only take you so far.

I'd take him back in a heartbeat. For better or worse this man just GETS our club, unlike anybody else who ha come since.

He would've understood why the vast majority of Spurs fans wanted us to lose to City last week.

Chelsea were stupid to sack him but glad they did, if they do well next season it's partly due to his good work whereas if they regress than they should've kept him.

Bayern, Man United or Milan next or someone else?

Good luck to him, still my favourite Spurs manager by a country mile.
