Manager Mauricio Pochettino

I'm really relieved this appointment has been made in a timely fashion so that Poch actually has a reasonable amount of time to get to know the players, implement his tactics and make some signings for the positions that need strengthening. I'm really looking forward to next season. I've got a feeling it will be a good and entertaining one!

This is what worries me. It failed under Ramos and failed under AVB.

Still, the Saints players all seem to regard Poch as a bit of a mate so hopefully he can work them hard but still put an arm around them.

I wouldn't blame the hard training sessions for their failures tbh with Ramos it was a lack of communication but fitness levels still rose greatly leading us to a trophy after 120 minutes in a final against mourines chavs

AVB was a lack of flexibilty in his attacking philosophy and the fact Ade acted the complete cunt

The player that will most benefit from the appointment of Pochettino is Paulinho. I'm not a massive fan of his game and have criticized him but the one skill that he that is elite is the ability to press the ball upfield. He's superb at it and that is what MP teams want to do.

If he can improve his passing and playmaking and find his shooting boots he could prove to be a revelation under Pochettino. He's built for this system.

Fuck it, like many others he wasn't my first choice but now he's in the hot seat I'm willing to back him all the way. The more I think about it and the more I read all the stuff people are writing about him on here, the more I think Levy has made the right choice.

I'm starting to get a lazy lob-on just thinking about what might be.

I think all the players will benefit under Poch.. He specialises in building players and building a team spirit..

just what we need.. Any sulkers in the squad can fuck right off, this is a new dawn and either join in or do one.

Very few of our players are at the world cup as well. Bonus for us on a club level.
