Manager Mauricio Pochettino

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Poch won't leave and no proven manager will touch United with a 25 foot pole. Squads a mess and needs serious spending done to it and the board seem reluctant to back anyone and sign players based on name. Atmosphere inside the team seems toxic they are more interested in selfies and games then results on the pitch.

There gonna have to do what us and Liverpool did go for a young manager with something to prove and hope he can stabalise the situation. Zidane is the most likely candidate in my eyes.

And Poch would be a goon to leave here to go there he's built this team from the ground up, why leave it just before the project is finished. To go to a team that might be a bigger name in the past but in the current situations and climate is a lot worse off

I'm worried he'd be tempted to work with a club(chairman) that is willing to fully back him to compete at the highest level.

The club should give him 100 millions for January window to show him they can match his ambitions.

Because Liverpool back their manager withna transfer budget.
So did Utd

Here are those 11 signings made by Jose Mourinho at Manchester United, costing a combined total of £358.8m...

  • Eric Bailly - Centre-back - Villarreal - £30m
  • Zlatan Ibrahimovic - Striker - Paris St-Germain - Free
  • Henrikh Mkhitaryan - Midfielder - Borussia Dortmund - £26.3m
  • Paul Pogba - Midfielder - Juventus - £89m
  • Victor Lindelof - Centre-back - Benfica - £31m
  • Romelu Lukaku - Striker - Everton - £75m
  • Nemanja Matic - Midfielder - Chelsea - £40m
  • Alexis Sanchez - Forward - Woolwich - Swap involving Mkhitaryan
  • Diogo Dalot - Full-back - Porto - £19m
  • Fred - Midfielder - Shakhtar Donetsk - £47m
  • Lee Grant - Goalkeeper - Stoke £1.5m

So (and I fully expect you to run off and not answer)....if Poch is doing better despite “not being backed” than a “proven winner” did with 360M, why are transfers the reason Poch will leave?

Why do people not understand that our managers strengths do not lie in the transfer market? Why do people think that a new manager will go there and be given another near half billion?
When it’s patently obvious that even if Carrick takes over until the summer, Utd will improve.

Fuck off . Hope they get Baldy and poch stays . Fine line between negativity and realism . I'm making a case for poch seriously considering it if offered . You reckon he will just dismiss it entirely then ?
With everything we know about Pochettino the man, do you think he's going to fuck off 1 year into his new 5 year contract, because I definitely don't. Also from a Man Utd stand point, you think they want to give us a fuck ton of money for Poch, when there's people like Zidane and Conte available on a free, in a summer when they are undoubtedly going to have to spend big on players

Klopp now gets given a healthy transfer budget , their owners pay big wages and want to win things .

Poch gets given fuck all and our owners are an embarrassment.
He had given us 5 seasons with fuck all . If he does go, I say fair play to him .
How many times does the man himself have to come out and say that its about buying the right people at the right price not just about buying anyone, and he said it again the other day about this January transfer window.

I'm not saying he would get the hundreds of millions Liverpool have spent but I am confident that ther is money there when the right player comes along that he wants.

I've always been wary of United ever since that pic of Poch and Fergie having lunch went round in 2016. I thought at the time it was naive to think Fergie wasn't laying some foundations and part of me still does today. I think United is the only English club Poch would ever dream of leaving us for, and I think it's unfair to criticise fans for legitimate worries.
Hopefully we might get an inkling of what his feelings are at his press conference today (assuming he has one?)

Exactly. Surely some of these people must think one thing only then.
Poch will either go to City, PSG or China, because they can all blow Utd out the water
