As if it wasn't bad enough the journo's propagating the Tottenham set piece weakness narrative, now the whoscored statisticians are getting in on the act:

Two goals conceded from set pieces this season? Really??

I dug into their match reports and it turns out they're counting Barnes' goal as a "set piece". It was a quick throw in to Kelly, who takes on Maddison and Dragusin down the left flank, then cuts it back to Barnes, who takes a first time shot.

Seriously?

What is it with the media and Tottenham? That show Flav goes on came up the other day on my playlist on the way to work and bosh, we're shite and Ange will be sacked by December (according to Scholes and Carragher). "Ange just isn't the right fit for Spurs". "Yeah sure, the media react kindly towards him because he says 'mate' but look at how many goals they've conceded" (same as Arse by the way Jamie but don't let that stop you eh)

Hours and hours of nothing but Yanited are pants, regardless of whether they were smashed or not. It's endless lol

I'd hazard a guess that, only those with a small sample size of brain cell really listen to these lot when they are on the TV.

We know about propaganda in the media, and sport is no different.

They flip-flop like crazy to try and keep up with what is happening on social media. The real analysis these days is on YouTube & other media with actual journalists (most of the time) who comb through data, eye test and from press conferences etc. Tangible things, rather than just blurting out whatever their opinion is.

Its annoying, but we as Spurs fans will know how well, or not, Spurs are doing - Certainly not bought and paid for pundits.

Ignore it. It doesn't matter, because we all know that if and when we win something, it will be 'Well, its only the XYZ Cup' whilst we bask in the glory.

Getting tired of seeing all this nonsense from Man Utd fans but especially the press. That Man Utd got battered at home... by TOTTENHAM. Like it's an anathema. Some tectonic plate shifting occurence. When in reality the phrasing should be. Man Utd got battered at home by Tottenham... Again..

The third time in 5 or so years they've took a beating from us at Old Trafford.

Watched a Manure Fan channel Yesterday and the deluded idiot on it actually claimed that Manure had the 5th best squad in the League and he said it with a straight face Hour's after we schooled them. It is the deluded attitude of these clowns and the like of Rio and Neville that really annoys folk. The reality is they probably have the 8th best squad in the league which is where they finished last year and will probably finish this year, they live in the past more than any other fan base

Dubious stats - Man City conceded TWO set-piece goals in one game (vs Woolwich) why isn't that recorded?

They only thing they know that’s it mandatory to find a way to shit on Tottenham
