I get your frustration but honestly we are getting everything we deserve. We are losing every week and playing shite to go with it.

No one can see where the next draw is coming from let alone the next win. There is absolute zero reason to have any semblance of a positive piece about us.

The way it's going we could lose eight PL games in a row and not even the awful Derby team of 07/08 did that.

It's horrible to look at and I've tried to avoid all things football apart from this forum, but we are the car crash everyone is rubber necking to look at.
By we, you mean the Billionaire owner and his offspring who care not one jot about the fans, or the slime Gooner seemingly dictating our destiny...

I don't associate myself with the owners, any more than I associate myself with Woolwich... They don't represent US FANS...

THE FANS don't deserve what we're potentially getting, but no one outside the club seems to differentiate between us all...

Man Utd and Everton HAVE both been in that situation in recent years....
But both weren't laughed at and suggested they deserve it ..
Moreover, the press were at pains to explain why they COULDN'T go down, and that there were reasons to be optimistic...

This piece on Everton shows the type of positive slant I'm talking about...

Whilst I'm not expecting fans to be silent or not mock us, the media's propensity to kick us while we're down and somehow suggest WE THE FANS deserve this, flies very much in the face of the idea that Everton's 'long suffering fans' don't deserve relegation....
Completely the opposite of us!
Honestly mate. You're paranoia is off the charts.

Everton is a totally different scenario. They operate on a tiny fraction of the revenue we generate and have been walking a financial tightrope for years. Their annual flirt with relegation was a surprise to nobody.

And Man Utd have NEVER found themselves in the position we're in during the prem era. If they were where we are now, every non United football fan would be pissing themselves senseless and the media attention would be in a different universe.

But you wouldn't notice it or call it out because all your attention is focused on us

A club of our magnitude with the finance we generate has never been in this position and it's all self inflicted.

I'm not sure what kind of response from the media and wider football world your expecting, but your constant victim playing is really embarrassing if I'm being honest with you.

We are a bigger club than Everton by modern day standards and Utd were getting pelters but they were in a relegation dogfight like we are right now.

But Everton HAVE won the League Title in my lifetime....
Not saying that accounts for size comparison, 'cos Leeds, Blackburn, Forest Villa & Fairytale FC have all won the League AND been relegated subsequently...
Their fall from grace (especially in Leicester and Leeds' case) was far more spectacular and sudden than our current situation threatens to be ..
And yet nothing really from the wider football world, except pity, and encouragement that they'll bounce back.

There's NOTHING of the sort when it comes to us...

It's the sheer volume of JOY our predicament seems to give the wider football public, who - apart from the obvious 2 or 3 rival London clubs, have NOTHING to hate or despise us over, yet seemingly have an irrational hatred of EVERYTHING about us....
Now why is that I wonder 🤔

Pelters yes, but bourne mainly of frustration within the Red Media... Roy Keane and Neville were scathing of the club, but that was because they were FEELING IT...
at no point did they laugh and joke and say how GOOD it would be for Football if Utd went down...
Mainly cos they knew the PL & their SKY paymasters would take a financial hit by not being able to cover any Utd PL matches if they went down...
There doesn't seem to be the same level of worry, or personal loss when it comes to us... Quite the opposite in fact, they seem to be positively revelling at the idea!

You're talking about Gary Neville who said that, he constantly roasts Utd even when they're playing well.

Anyone else in our position in terms of club status and they'd be relishing the idea of them going down.

What, even Lincoln City??

Yeah, guess you're right... I suppose it's a backhanded compliment BECAUSE it's such a big story...

The only comparison I guess is when Nan City were in the 3rd tier and Utd won the treble....
But City didn't get anywhere NEAR the same level of shit WE'RE getting right now !

THIS ALL FEELS TOO PERSONAL!

The media will continue to be all over us. I think it’s really important the players get some sort of result soon. Even a draw I think would be enough to get the match-going support onside.

If we’re going to stay up, we need to have an “Everyone against us” mindset and right now I think the players feel that even their own support are fighting them (which is true and warranted). If we nick a result, I think we’ll see that cauldron of an atmosphere begin to bloom and that’s what we need in order to stay up.

If that’s the same Jonathan Liew that constantly digs on Spurs and he’s writing that because a Jewish business opened next to a Palestinian business, maybe that explains why he really hates Spurs

Surely both business are British first and if we are the multi ethnic melting pot that we celebrate, there’s no hostility to opening next to your neighbours because you are both British first?

Jonathan Liew is a Spurs fan…

Not us, but it used to be when we were doing well under Poch and drives me fucking crazy

there's a rule that United and Liverpool belong at the top and Spurs and Villa don't. if a player or manager at Spurs/Villa/Newastle etc is doing well then that person BELONGS at United or Liverpool.

the entitled arrogance drives me fucking crazy and even now, 13 years after United's last title they stil fucking thing they have a right to the league's best players and all their fuck ex player pundits sing off the same "we're Man United" hymn sheet

Cunts

oh and Neville is on comms for the United villa game toady.

that seems fair and unbiased.
