MENTAL FORTITUDE

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Just one point for those who are after a massive inspirational motivator hard man leader as captain, for the millionth time this is not 1985 any more these are mollycoddled cunts who earn stupid money.

David Silva has been City captain most of season and Valencia captain of Man U, Jordan Henderson for god sake

Even Roy Keane got forced out as captain eventually for hurting some players feelings

Exactly. Lets all over exaggerate & over react to posts. My go. So you think we should be grateful if we got relegated!
No.

And I believe we do have flaws. I just don’t think “a winning mentality” is one of them.

I said at the start of the season that I was concerned we were concentrating too much on depth of squad, with players who wouldn’t play, rather than quality.

I’ve said I’m concerned at us not playing Toby, but relying instead on a still raw Sanchez.

However, we are going to end up 3rd or 4th. We did well in the cups we entered. And that’s whilst playing away all season. I’d suggest we’ve hit par for the season, maybe a bit better.

Flaws? Yes. Over-react? No.

Poch has been the man to build us up and the players he has developed will fund our transition into a top quality stadium as they are sold for great profit in the coming two years. But looking further ahead, is Poch the man to develop the requisite mental strength for us to bring footballing success to our new home in the long term?

Or just say we need a manager and Poch stays as assistant manager / coach.

Man City - expected result
Brighton - should be winning
Man Utd - expected result
Watford - expected result
West Brom - should be winning

Newcastle - should win
Leicester - should win

Not really that far off what should have happened. Brighton just beat Man Utd, so no pushovers. West Brom just beat them too and drew win Liverpool. Games we should win, but we can’t win every one.

I partly agree. But I think experience & leadership played a big part in juve knocking us out. I felt we were the better team & deserved to go through.
But they had that know how & mental toughness to come through.
I think sometimes its just looking at ways of improving but people are sensitive & think you're saying we our shit etc.
I wouldn't be surprised if poch might think we need to be tougher mentally.
Also, I'd be interested to know how else we can improve if mentally we are sound?
Better players? Or what?

We have done better than I thought we would this season. But I am still interested in how poch thinks we can improve & what he will do for us to reach that next level.

What's melting about the post? Am I screaming about things not being good enough at the club? I was just giving you lads some friendly advice to improve your happiness. What do you think melting means?
A fan should stop supporting a team if they aren't happy! Losing & being hurt & upset is a big part of being a supporter.
I think melting is what you are doing over a few posts you don't like. Who is screaming anyway?! I could equally say you are screaming because some posters post something you don't like.
