That's an interesting take. It's definitely something in his head, whether it's that, or thinking of Real Madrid (which is kind of the same thing), or his next Albiceleste match, or unhappy that Lo Celso got frozen out, or maybe he's bored and wants to play DM instead of CB, who knows?

like VDV but he has room for improvement. hes weak in the air for a player his size, if he can improve on that his value goes up massively. your 2 CB's are your main players for set pieces and ours are not dominant enough, for a player whos 6"3 or 6"4 whatever he is, hes weak in the air.

That weak spot is why Drag should play CB and VDV LB
yea maybe case for that. udogie is overrated. especially as an inverted FB. not sure VDV is an inverted FB either though.
the best option would probably be a back 3. with drag in the middle, that helps us massively for set pieces too as he does want to get up and head the fucking thing.

not sure hes a any type of fullback though is he? one of his strengths is his passing out from CB, his passing is clean and crisp out wide into team mates. its one of his strengths.

agree, udogie tippy tapping is very predictable and fuck all comes from it. hes actually a passenger now. offered nothing for a long, long time.

id try gray there, far better footballer. can make ground with it and play decisive passes forward. also far more switched on with defending from what ive seen as hes a natural footballer. rather try him at LB

Mickey clearly needs more rest and attention than most. We need to prioritize his involvement in the most important games and rotate him out against weaker clubs.
