Unfortunately I had to spend quite a few games in the home section at Anfield accompanying my pool supporting step son and the way they support their team is very stark in comparison to our fanbase. This was pre-Klopp times so we witnessed some pretty bad performances.

Yep save it till the final whistle but only for performances like we saw yesterday. Every paying fan was insulted with what we served up.

I'm still slightly confused as to why he hasn't played 3-5-2 of some kind more often.

Frank played that formation against PSG and it produced arguably our best performance of the season, so why has he continually played 4-3-3??

He thinks he hasn't needed it yet, AND, we don't have enough healthy CBs to use it. I reckon he thinks Palh is better as a CDM in a 4-X-X than as a CB in a 3-X-X formation, and I would agree.
 
He's fantastic at centre back obviously.. But sometimes I watch him burn up the pitch with ball at his feet.. And I sometimes think.. Do we have potentially the best left back/left wing back in europe, and are settling for having a top 5 centre back in the Premier League.

Either way, it doesn't really matter.. that's small print. He's great.
 
So we've gone from Kane + Son with Sanchez and Lenglet at the back to Romero + VDV with Richy and Johnson up top.

Why Spurs why?

One of the big boys will come knocking very soon. A few on them desperately need CBs right now too.
