As I'm going to this, and I've never started a match thread, thought I'd give it a go.

The FA Cup is still a lovely trophy to win, no matter how some people try to belittle it.

So Antonio, I don't care who plays, just win it in normal time, as it would be nice to be home by 2am.

Impeccable thread naming too, Mrs P.... :adesalute:

Absolutely no suprise there. One would have been a fool to expect anything less.

Same again as much as possible, we don’t play again for 6 days after this game, we’re obviously a better side and we should hopefully have momentum in our favour after the Leeds win. Only changes I’d be tempted to make is to give Son a break with one of Lucas or Bergwijn coming in, maybe Romero too given that he’s played every few days since returning from a big injury, and if all is going well then bring Harry off early, so maybe:

Lloris
Sanchez Dier Davies
Doherty Højbjerg Winks Sessegnon
Kulusevski _____ Bergwijn
Kane

Gollini Emerson Romero Reguilón White Devine Lucas Son Scarlett
All assuming that Bentancur and Skipp remain unavailable.

The fa do this competition no favours with kick off times and fixtures. Add to that the semi finals being played at Wembley and the final kicking off at 5.30 . Just small changes like that can make a big difference

But I would still love to get to the final. This is our only hope of salvaging something from what has been a really disappointing season.

Going to be a tough game but I’m hoping the players will give it everything as there is nothing else to play for.

Enjoy the day and if we win , you’ll have to start match threads on a regular basis. Lucky mascot?
