Nah brah, that was like... BAD.

He looks good, tho.

Fans need to take it easy with him and not plonk the world on his head.

Just let him develop and see where it goes.

Hard not to get excited when you see he's got a finish like that in his locker, but still the wise move.

He's coming along nicely, let's keep the pressure of him.
Think you miss the point. Of cause its bad. The ability to immediately and decisively punish the error is what marks out class players. That's the point im making. Them players make goals out of nothing and he has it. It dint mean he will make it, but FM it's nice to see in one of our young prospects.

I get your point.

Just wary of going over the top.

See a lot of young, skilful players who's talents don't translate to the top tier (for whatever reason).

Exciting prospect, absolutely.

Let's see how it goes.

The lad is insanely talented, most exciting thing about him is that he isn't destroying the youth level with overawing strength or pace, he's just a super fucking intelligent footballer, which is the bit you can't teach. 17 in August, within a couple years he could fill his frame out and then it'll be really interesting to see what we have on our hands with him. May as well keep him around the first team to make EL appearances next season IMO, unlike previous years though I'd like to see our EL teams made up of largely first teamers with a few very exciting prospects (Moore, Donley, Devine, Phillips, Dorrington?) getting rotated in to the squad to experience senior minutes and build up a playing rapport with the first team lads, rather than them getting chucked into a full on "bench and reserve" side that we've put out in the past.

Lankshear just been named PL2 POTY has to be in with a sniff.

Parrott back from a decent loan would probs do well in EL, Scarlett TBC.

Born in Southwark. I seem to remember reading somewhere Camberwell, which used to be my manor.
Pre-season will tell for sure but I don't think he will need a loan.
Will be exciting to see him and Bergvall possibly playing together.

It is on BBCi player.
If you haven't seen Mikey yet then find some time to watch at least some of the game.
I don't think you will be disappointed.

He's 16? He's at least two years away from being a consistent part of the first team.

I do think he could use a loan to a team that might play him in the top division of a strong league. France, Spain, even EPL, for next season. At that point he comes to split time with Son as Son slows down.

How Ange handles and integrates him will be very telling to his commitment to youth development. Without Europe, we didn’t really get the chance last year. Although Emerson at CB instead of Dorrington cost me £50.

I think that he will be training with the first team and picking up garbage minutes here and there until he turns 18. And then he'll go out on loan. Similarly to Devine.

And if he truly impresses in the minutes needed he has a chance to really make a spot for himself. But he's still only 16 so I'm trying not to put the cart ahead of the horse.

Even though They lost 4-1 the goal that’s impressed me the most was the Portugal one.

The composure to find the gap and finish tells me a lot more about him that the mazy dribble against France or the peach against Spain.

There's pretty much no chance that he'll be going on loan next season. He'll have just turned 17 and I think the club are going to be pretty cautious with him.

People chat utter bollox

He's 16 and nowhere near ready for first team prem football
He is obviously a class above what we’ve had from the academy in recent years . I think he will be a regular on the bench next season, with some under 21 games. Nice to be able to put him on for last 15-20 . Sometimes you’ve got to give youth its head . If you’re good enough etc.
Pre season friendlies will be a good guide.
The Italians might give him a hard time tonight. Spanish doubled up on him last game.
