Yes I know- I didn't particularly think much of Spursidol's view of the matter either.
Great work again there Sherlock.
Thanks, Watson. Always happy to uncover the mysteries of the obvious!

Have it your way bud- McWorld n all that. Thanks, Watson. Always happy to uncover the mysteries of the obvious!
Unlike Yang, Bergvall was sought after by the likes of Barcelona. Not surprised, to be honest. They can't even explain how this signing differs from bringing in Bergvall, except that Yang shares the same nationality as Son.
Basically your assessment is that Lucas is more "talented" than Yang because Barcelona was after him and you don't think he is ready because he comes from Asia.Unlike Yang, Bergvall was sought after by the likes of Barcelona.
He cost three times as much.
He comes from a country that isn't as 'Spurs' as the SKs are (refer to previously cited NYT article). Kulu has possibly attracted a few countrymen but on a tiny scale by comparison to Son at present (although who knows if he keeps playing the way he has been). Bergvall's 'buzz' with our fanbase was that he was a high-quality known prospect beforehand. His marketing began the second we snatched him from Barcelona on the promise that he would receive development under Ange. Yang is obviously talented but there's a reason the likes of Barcelona went for Bergvall and not Yang. The former was a higher-quality acquisition.
Yang is a talented SK kid who cost a few bottom up pints and is now at a club with a lot of SK fans at present. His stock may rise as Sonny's fades and those same fans will be far more likely to stay invested in the club if he succeeds.
Now the basic reason I was bleating on about Yang in the first place is because I would have preferred us to have scouted a more experienced player. If I'm honest, right this moment, I'd rather Bergvall was being developed on loan. I love it when we get young players in and really like the fact that we have a young squad overall, but there are some who I feel are more ready than others and I don't believe Yang will be for a fair old while yet. I believe we can acquire better more experienced quality to help push us up the table while he's being developed elsewhere.
Go back and read the other posts I've written of late because I don't want to spend time repeating myself.

This sort of nonsense is totally irrelevant. Can you tell me who the previous years MVP finalists were? Probably not because they’ve disappeared without a trace.![]()
Yang Min-hyeok is a K-League MVP finalist
He’s the youngest ever MVP finalist in K-League history!cartilagefreecaptain.sbnation.com
Youngest ever MVP Finalist. Props to the kid.
K League is 20th ranked, Bergvall’s Allsvenskan is 28th (not sure he played the whole season, but didn’t see him MVP nominated) for perspective.
I've practically written a dissertation about what I think of all of this, which you've misread. I'm not spending another second on it.Basically your assessment is that Lucas is more "talented" than Yang because Barcelona was after him and you don't think he is ready because he comes from Asia.![]()
As is your perspective, nonsense, from my perspective. This sort of nonsense is totally irrelevant. Can you tell me who the previous years MVP finalists were? Probably not because they’ve disappeared without a trace.
People need to stop looking at the fucking K league as some sort of indicator this kid will make it here. It’s 2 different footballing worlds.
I bet it's already written and saved in the drafts ready to hit "post" at 0001 January 1st 2025...Looking forward to the Alisdair Gold article on how we've shelved plans for a new winger in January because Yang is impressing so much in training.
I know all about this mate ( been discussed and disputed here at length) he is no longer principal owner one and two, he still wouldn't be anywhere near as bad as bone saw MBS.If you read about EL BOLSÓN, ARGENTINA you'd see that people have gone missing after Lewis land grab , people who protested , never seen again.
He’s a nasty piece of work & make no mistake
Anyways , , haven’t got a clue about the game but I’d be surprised if City continue this terrible run
That is true but its foolish to underestimate it either. Just because he is from Korea doesn't mean he can't make it here. It will be difficult for sure, but if he does turn out decent or even great then it is jackpot for us. At his age and potential can be worth alot. This sort of nonsense is totally irrelevant. I was a Spurs fan since 1983. Probably long before you were born kid.Do you plan to remain a lifelong Spurs fan if Sonny retires and we have no Korean players in our squad?
Just curious.
