With all the speculation about our new manager, does it matter. Last season we over performed, as we have the 7th best squad and ended up 6th. Levy won't spend any more money than we get in from the sale of our players (as normal) so we will start the season with a pretty much average side. The new manager will no doubt have an impact the style of football we play, but in reality we don't have a monkeys chance of top four or winning a trophy with the bunch of donkeys we presently have.

I think we under-performed actually, since I believe we have the fifth best squad. But I agree, sans a few key additions I don't think even brilliantly conducive tactics can get us fourth next season.
 
I think you'd be doing the Spurs community a huge favour if you supported someone else.


That's in the assumption of you actually 'supporting' anyone, as you seldom seem to.
 
This thread is why you should never listen to grumpy old men holding themselves out as if they know everything just because they have been going 30 years instead of 10 or 20.
 
This appointment matters MORE than any other previously as we have never had a more talented/expensive squad underperform to such a degree. In the past we have performed to best of ability or just been plain shit, this is the time when the manager is more important than any signing this summer
