Doesn't matter who we have, the serial winners fail here, but I am not convinced he is the answer.
But if appointed, he will get our support, however due to the club set up, I don't know what will be expected of him, maintaing top six I guess.

You're not convinced he's the answer, yet the serial winners fail here....

Then tell us all, who would be the answer? Or better yet, what sort of manager profile would be?

Unfortunately due to past managers , who continue to fail when hired, I just don't know or have faith/trust in the process in the club.
I'm expecting it will be him, probably go back to young players and cheaper alternatives to try and make a squad.
Expectations are that, it might take a few seasons of indifferent results, before we see any progress, but it is what it is.

You're definitely rain cloud FC aren't you.

*His team relies on youthful 'runners' and we do not possess many of those.

*He plays a back 4 and we have wing backs galore.

* It seems like he is being hired without a DOF even in place and they're both meant to be working closely together.

*He is so desperate to come to the premiership that he was willing to take a relegation threatened Leeds United job. That basically means it's not about us and our 'project' specifically, rather a desperation to come to this league.

Well surely that's where his coaching comes in hand? We may just end up seeing the likes of Sarr, Bissouma and Gil flourish as well as the improvement of players like Skipp and Kulusevski who could both probably benefit from a progressive coach.

Walker was a walking disaster at one point who got more abuse than any Spurs players I can remember and Rose was a failed winger. Good coaching turned them into the best full backs in the Premier League.

It won't be easy to turn Porro and Udogie into solid full backs but we would need to let our coach do his magic with two of our most promising young players. He may decide Porro is better as a winger in a 4231. He may decide to have use for Emerson as a right back for when Udogie starts at left back. Who knows?

As a coach, he may just find a way of using one of our midfielders (or a new signing) to be able to drop into the back four to make a three when Porro and Udogie play.

Unless of course something is happening behind the scenes with regards to both.

He seems confident in his abilities.

I sort of wished we'd gone for Kompany in a way. No real reason, more of a gut feeling. He's been manager for pretty much the same amount of games as Slot or Amorin with the advantage he knows the prem. Ange is an interesting one, obviously on Brightons short list which says a lot.

If we don't have manager and a DOF by the end of the month the start of next season is going to be a mess.

Scrambling around for transfer targets. The whole Kane saga. Club signings happening without DOF or manager over seeing it. The Constant negative press about us being a banter club.

Even if it was just DOF now, atleast plans would be getting put in place. For both long term and short term.

Romano said it’s between Slot,Ange and Amorim.

I’d prefer Ange personally.

I'd be happy with either Slot or Ange, tbh.

Both play attractive high pressing football, something we've not seen here for close to 5 years. They'd both need to look beyond the Kane and Son factor of having two players who simply either can't be arsed to press or don't have the legs to but I think they'd both be good managerial appointments.

Simply do not want Amorim.

Woolwich at least backed their manager with some decent signings and let him cut some others loose . Levy doesn't do that signs players that don't work out then keeps them nobody wants them he then thinks another manager will get a tune out of them .A very familiar story with us unfortunately.
We have binned off or exiled a number of players, if that is what the manager requested. No player has been forced onto a manager.
