NES can't succeed at THFC.
No one can..
No need for us to back him. Just don't be negative to him.
He'll be gone inside his 2 year deal and it'll be another circus.
Or as soon as Poch leaves PSG and we lose a football match the links with Poch will be swirling around.

A 2 year contract shows exactly how cynical Levy is, he knows full well this appointment is just to get a body in for the season.

for the first 2 years that Wolves were in the premier no one liked playing them because of the way Nuno set them. Wolves were great and punching above their weight.

Lets get behind him. Next season is going to be tough given how late he has come in so we need to give him leeway. I’m excited now! Let’s build!

Nonsense. There is a need to get behind him. Grow up.

You can be rightfully furious with Levy, obviously, but whomever the new manager was gonna be, we should give them a chance.

He might well be gone asap, but that's not really the point.

What the fuck is the point in saying no to the guy, he's our coach and we either we either cry and moan about it or support the manager and the team.

I didn't like playing West Brom, Burnley, Bolton, Stoke (until we started battering them 4-0 every game) etc etc etc.
Just because lower teams get points from higher teams doesn't mean I want their coach with their methods.
The above teams came to Spurs every season with a plan to play as little football as possible and see what they can get out of the ground with.

The expectation at Spurs from us fans is that he will have to get us back challenging for a champions league spot. That's a bigger expectation than he's had before in that it's probably harder to achieve than what he was expected to do at Porto and Valencia and Wolves. Especially with one arm tied behind his back by the sucubus Daniel Levy.

Any tactics we don't like will probably be forgotten if he does well of course but can anyone really see it?
We've lost Kane. Accept it. And we probably won't get what we want either. And Levy pleading poverty suggests The Parrot and the Pillock won't get to reinvest that in the squad. We're gonna be getting more Doherty's, Harts, Vinicious type deals this summer than quality players.

So if there is anyone really against NES, all they have to do is wait patiently for the results to bomb and he'll be out. Sacked by the twat that sets coaches up to fail.

I watched the interview with Nuno and I have to say he doesn't seem very confident. Seems like a nice guy, saying all the right things but it's not believable to me, it all seems very "yes man" and he doesn't seem confident in what he is saying about the club.

Like he brings up our youth academy by saying "I have heard we have some good youth players" he has heard or he knows?
Agreed. Came across like a politician, saying the right things but with no real substance behind what he said.

Hope he does well but I think we'll get turgid, incoherent footy personally.

It's more important what the DOF does at this stage really, if we put together a good squad, there's more chance we'll get the right manager eventually.

Levy has fucked this right up....bringing in Jose was a massive mistake and I think he's done the same with the DOF and Nuno. Has set us back years when we were on the cusp of something great.

Good luck Nuno, you're gonna need it chief.

Lots of people voted NO before he was appointed. Many of them will be happy to give the guy a chance now he's got the job, but there will be a few who 'know better'!

I agree with you, it would be dumb to vote NO now.

Talking of bad apples. How has mendes suddenly been involved in our club?
From Gedson, Vinicius, mourinho, paratici, Doherty and now Nuno.

I'm surprised levy has allowed this much power to be handed over to someone who isn't even employed by the club.

Are we sure levy is the chairman and not Mendes? He's got his tentacles all over this club and I don't like it at all.
It sounds like Levy is just outsourcing the soccer segment of the company business:pochsmirk:

Is Poch gonna want to come back under Paratici? His biggest qualm was not having enough control yet Levy keeps gunning for a DOF model which has failed him every single time.

Likewise does Paratici rate him? Surely he would have went for him over Pirlo and Gattuso after Sarri left.

You sure he never played him? 67 premier league appearances in his last 2 seasons for Wolves suggests where I come from that maybe he did!

:mourcry:

Wolves fan:
Jota was wildly inconsistent. Only really played as striker during the 352 days between 2nd January 2019 and October 2019.

At the point of sale he had been completely dropped from the first team, Nuno was reliant on Neto.

Championship season he only turned up for half a season, 1st season in prem he didn't get going until he scored Vs Chelsea in December time, then petered out around February.
2nd season in prem, didn't get going, scored back to back hat tricks in Europa League then disappeared and fell over himself whenever he went 1v1.

He's incredibly streaky, and was sold by Nuno as he preferred Neto and Podence out wide.

And yes, it was a choice sale, Liverpool paid 4.5M up front for him, if we were pushed into the sale for financial reasons we'd have asked for lower fee and more up front.

There isn't a Spurs DNA.

It's got nothing to do with microbiology.

Just play better football and win more matches, no need for using buzzword terms that businessmen use at corporate motivation events.
