I want him to do well, honestly do. But everything points towards this being a terrible appointment that we have made at the last minute because Levy has fucked up with every other target.

We have gone from Mourinho to a lesser version of him with no pedigree. This appointment makes no sense and smacks of panic.

He’s only got a 2 year contract. I’d put good money on him not being here this time next year if PSG sack Poch in the next 12 months, which is entirely possible.

We have to hope (well, this is my hope anyway) that Nuno can do the Jose ball better than Jose could do it lol.

I mean, Jose had us top in December, beating Woolwich 2-0 in a game where we actually looked solid. All went to shit of course.

So...IF we sign Nuno some capable defenders (I'd take Boly off Wolves for a start) and we keep Kane and Son, can he get us into the groove of being solid and nicking our chances with a world-class strike pair?

I don't see any other way that this can be remotely successful. Sorry about the 'DNA' though, eh Levy?

That does seem to be looming in the background. Though, the Poch thing was before the Paratici thing, Poch was reported to want much more power to return, though maybe Levy would shiv Paratici too in order to squeeze one more year of season ticket revenue out of the rubes.

Anyway, I’m sure that gives Levy justification to hold out on Kane for one more season.

The desperate, flopsweatting short-termism of ENIC continues to accelerate.

I don't think the appointment of Nuno is too bad, I wouldn't say he was my first choice but he's certainly not the worst.

He's been consistent at all the clubs he's managed, he's Premier League proven with an average squad of players. When Wolves were promoted they were one of the best teams in the Premier League to watch, everyone enjoyed them, they were a breath of fresh air.

He's a good man manager, which I believe is what these players need.

My only fear is the Mendes link, so will be interested to see how that pans out.

Overall gonna try be positive around the appointment.

2-year deal screams no confidence and glorified care-taker

What and absolute disaster of 10 weeks to produce this - ENIC must fall at all costs now

Welcome Nuno - you have much work to do

This appointment makes little sense to me but I’ll back the new manager like I would with other managers.

Nuno will have to get off to a good start because the pressure from our fanbase will be heightened and will put extra pressure on Levy to fire Nuno sooner than fair.

There will be a clause in there that if results aren't right by Christmas he will be gone for free.

I'd say the smart money will be on him gone before January is up.

A 2 year deal? He must have desperate for a job.

Stinks of shit. Levy is a cunt. Spurs are fucked.

Yeah, its all fine wrestling over who we wanted...but its who we've got now.

Great name, great shirt possibilities for TFC. It'll take a miracle for Spurs to win anything this season, so maybe it'll work out.

Poch is out of contract in 2 years.
