I didn’t bother watching his post match interview after how painful the pre match one was, they aren’t exactly insightful either anyway. I didn’t realise that it was actually Jeff Brazier interviewing Nuno before the game, I knew I recognised the voice!

I’ve been really wanting to warm to Nuno and like him, but I’m just finding it impossible with the way he carries himself and speaks to journalists. I get he may find doing press conferences and interviews tedious, but it’s a part of his job. It’s not a good look to be constantly snapping at people, sometimes for no particular reason.

I personally hate it too but I can see his point. The dressing room is already a dropped pie and the media are there just to pounce on any sort of slip up. They want him to call out Dele for being shit so they can make a meal out of it.

As with the whole so proud speech it is carefully constructed by Spurs PR. He makes as if to leave after every question and seems like he hates the whole thing. Did the same at Wolves apparently so isn't that big a deal.

His post-match interview was as bland as a boiled potato.

Guy just speaks in blunt generalities. Don't think it's too much to ask to talk about a specific player (eg Lo Celso) and give some praise ffs. He's beginning to really irritate me

The Athletic:

There are other aspects of Nuno’s own personal style that have not endeared him to his players. Nuno is an intelligent and thoughtful man, but he is not exactly loquacious, as he sometimes shows in his curt responses in press conferences.

But Nuno is not chatty with his players either, certainly compared to his more charismatic, outgoing predecessors. There is no small talk with players, and no real dialogue away from the training pitch.

.....

Right now, there is a feeling in the dressing room that Nuno is uncommunicative to the point of being distant, and that does not help him to get his point across.

Yeah he looked fucking grim on the bench today. Facial expression hardly changed after the goals even.

Out of that lot, we've only gotten rid of Sissoko and Aurier (FML), and are going through the painfully predictable nightmare - not to mention waste of time and points - of watching Nuno slowly discover how shit they are.

Round and round we go.

Just imagine... "Winksy, Davies, Sanchez, Dele, Sissoko, Doherty, Dier, Aurier... they're the past... full stop."

The brutality in culling, we need.

The media are definitely vultures no denying that, but some of them are well meaning and are just trying to do their job. I’m sure they’re not all out to get him.

That PR video when he first joined was very uncomfortable, it seemed like he was reading off a autocue and taking prompts, didn’t really seem genuine at all

I think that’s a good summary of his personality, and how I feel about him

Bored Married With Children GIF

My face going through the stages today. The game, the goal, the hat trick and the post match interview.

I'm still not sold. Losing today would've been like losing at Marine FC in the FA Cup last season.

Yeah after spending the best part of two months with this bunch of spineless losers he is smart enough to realise why bother it’s pointless talking to this “nice” bunch of guys who don’t care if they win or lose they will get me the boot regardless.
levy following/implementing the definition of stupidity doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Yet it applies to the fans not Levy, we bring in manager after manager with little turnover in the same Group of awful players while Levy laughs thst we fell for it again.

And just a point for discussion. Based on what we have seen so far it’s not looking promising in the slightest but……

2014-15 was Pochettino’s first year and nine games in, things didn’t look so hot. Spurs were 3-4-2 at that point and were coming off a 4-1 thrashing at the hands of Manchester city and appalling homes loses to WBA and Newcastle. After winning the first two matches of the season Spurs started to sputter.”

I think we have to go with a back 3:

Lloris
Tanganga-Romero-Rodon
Emerson-PEH-Skipp-Reggie
GLC
Kane-Son
Got only one attacker that can run or beat a man, Son. Get PEH out and play Gill with GLC in between the lines. Skipp and PEH if we need to shore up the last 20 mins

Would want to see him whipping the wing backs if they retreat into full back areas….. dominate the middle third and aim for them to break into the final third
