I know you were luv, I was just underlining the utter hash Levy has made of near every thing. Like Jol, like Nuno and what about the ones he gets credited for. Pochettino, Levy desperately want Luis Van Gaal. 😫 He needs to stay out of the football completely but his ego will NEVER let him. Even farming off Pleat. The football side has no one with any real football pedigree involved and it shows. Why isn't Steve Perryman knocking around to just bounce ideas off? Its horrible. Can Ange be that fragile he feels threatened by a retired Perryman. I'd love to know what Steve thinks of our midfield void.
I know that Stevie wanted us to go for Potter (after Poch).
Levy was like a starstruck teenager around Conte and Mourinho, but most people knew they were never going to work for us, if they weren't going to get proper backing.

Very good manager. I will always maintain he was never given a fair chance and backed by the fans and owners. Fair play to him quality manager and genuinely great guy.

It was that game vs Woolwich that did for him, when they keep easily playing through the midfield. I think I recall Paratici leaving his seat on the bench and walking off angrily down the tunnel. He probably went to phone Conte.

Absolute joke the way he was treated by the club. And yes, by some fans too.

Sure, he's not the most lively guy during pressers & interviews. And yeah, his football isn't the most flamboyant.

But he's a genuinely decent, humble and intelligent man who knows a ton about football & winning games. What he did at Wolves & now with Forest is remarkable.

FUCK YOU LEVY

I think you can look at Kane before you look at Levy.

If only Levy & Fabio knew what they were doing, we'd never have hired Nuno and gone straight for Conte

He has always been a hit and miss manager. While acknowledging that he was treated like dirt for reasons that had nothing to do with him, I don't miss him. I just don't see him capable of establishing anything sustainable in the long term, no matter where he is.

In his first season with Valencia he finished 4th with 70 points.
He had gotten only 19 points from 13 matches in his second season before he got the sack.

After earning a promotion and achieving back to back 7th place finishes, thanks in no small part to an influx of Mendes players that a club of Wolves' stature shouldn't have been able to afford, he finished 13th in his final season there. They were dreadful to watch too.

He lost 11 of the 21 league matches with Forest after taking over around Christmas in 2023, while barely surviving relegation. He's flying right now, but the chances are Forest will be right back hovering around the relegation zone under him next season.

He can be a breath of fresh air for teams desperate for any kind of defensive solidity, discipline, grit and so on but that's it.

So you never changed your mind, pal? Good on ya.

Tbh I always find it rather lame when somebody goes thru your old posts to try & make you look a turncoat. You got that much spare time on your hand? And how old's you, pal...but hey, you do you.

Plus, that wasn't really a diss at Nuno. When Conte is on the table, I'm always gonna favor him as I think anyone with a bit of footy knowledge would. Proper elite manager who's won big shit or Nuno who by then had only shone at Wolves? Yeah tough pick.

State of this club that this is even a thread.

He and we weren’t the right fit because of how it came about ,the time it happened and how things went between us .

As many relationships ; it’s a case of “ what might have been “
but you’re happy that things worked out for the person who you said goodbye to ( because you thought they weren’t good enough for you ) .

Thereafter ; we met Antonio ( who gave us some good times and then , effectively dumped us) then Ange came into our lives .

You know the rest .

Prince Vultan not happy.
