This isn't good.

Also I don't like that it's been leaked but one problem at a time.

Nuno described as ‘uncommunicative to point of being distant’

In the latest story leaked from inside the training ground, Tottenham boss Nuno Espirito Santo is described as ‘uncommunicative to the point of being distant’ without any real ‘patterns of play’.

After similar character assassinations in the tabloids, The Athletic provide a view from inside the club that does not paint Santo in a flattering light.

‘Nuno is an intelligent and thoughtful man, but he is not exactly loquacious, as he sometimes shows in his curt responses in press conferences.

‘But Nuno is not especially chatty with his players either
, certainly compared to his more charismatic, outgoing predecessors. There is no small talk with players, and no real dialogue away from the training pitch.’

You might wonder why footballers need ‘small talk’ but this is clearly a problem when you follow Mauricio Pochettino and Jose Mourinho, who both had big personalities.

It is said that Santo ‘is uncommunicative to the point of being distant’, which might well translate to an issue with giving tactical instructions.

Certainly, their performance in the 3-1 defeat to Woolwich suggested that the players had no idea of their instructions.

The Tottenham boss said cryptically after the game: “I won’t name individuals who didn’t play the game plan right, but the game plan was not right according to the players who were on the pitch.”

Now an unnamed source has told The Athletic: “Nobody is quite sure what is what. It’s unclear how we’re playing. There are no patterns of play.”

Managers aren't queuing up to work with Levy and a strange squad with only a few quality players + one built by multiple managers that doesn't really fit any particular style. It's a tough job. Managers out of work might take it, but those in comfortable jobs or thriving might be hard to convince.

And let's face it, we're not going to make that effort because it would require committing transfer funds + power to a new manager.
Which can all be overcome by making an effort. I don't just mean phoning some one up more often.
Pick a decent coach and that doesn't have to be some one who is available. Who cares if they're at a club already, make it happen.
Then when you have the right person you have to give them a clear vision and a plan.

We clearly didn't bother with any of that. We took a hobo on and told him he'll have to make do.

That's likely got as much to do with the players being dim as it is Nuno being innept.
It always strikes me how we don't ever look like a clever team anymore. In the pomp of Poch we did, but we just seem so basic nowadays.

wonder if that's because we don't have eriksen now, folks are making runs but the players don't see them
Eriksen just knew where to put the ball

One of Wolves players (Marcal) had this to say on their new manager and the difference between him and Nuno. “Bruno came to the club with a very different work approach to the previous manager. With Bruno, I think he knows how he wants the team to play, and he can pass that on quite clearly to us during training." This latest story is consistent with that.

If all these rumours of unease in the squad are true then when nuno does go I hope he throws a few of our so called players under the bus as well and exposes them for over paid cowards they are.

Let poch down, let Jose down and now at it again.

This is the tip of the iceberg stuff.

He's finished here already, it's now just a question of when Levy kicks him out. The real issue is if these jokers have any options to replace him which is actually why he''ll be allowed to hang on in there. We're in a mess and nobody else wants the job.

The job at the moment is not attractive to a well proven manager his reputation would most likely be damaged so we will have to strike lucky like we did with Poch who properly beat any expectations most had when he was appointed.
