I didn’t say that we had a. ‘Good’ chance of winning with Jose but a much better chance than with Mason so Levy should have waited until after the final
There was a short period in the second half when City had ran out of ideas and we started to get some possession so an attack minded substance might have turned things so what Mason do?
He brought on Sissoko
Nuff said!
And you think Jose Mourinho would have made this change? Against Man City?
And Jose STARTED Sissoko against Zagreb. And brought him on to try and add physicality/drive to our midfield on a number of occasions. How many times did he make game making changes that won us a match during his time with us? I can't remember any.
We either took the lead early and held on, or we didn't and lost. Or we took said lead and decided to sit on it until the inevitable late goal we would concede. Jose's ability to be proactive and make key decisions had already been proven as not particularly good by the time the final rolled around.
Anyway, like I said it's just opinions. If you think Jose gave us a better chance that's fair, but I don't, hence why it's not a decision I particularly blame Levy for. Before that final I had zero hope, and when he was sacked I had zero hope.
