That Leao has mental speed/strength, he did Sarr once or twice as well. They have about 2-3 class players in that AC Milan team.
 
Skipp had a solid game I thought. Some good interceptions and tackles, some nice first time passing. Needs to kick on in the next few months but had a decent game tonight.

i hope youre right. hes a good little player either way. trys to play football the right way, and is willing to put his body on the line too. one thing is for sure hes defo a good squad player to have and when you call upon him you know what you get. shits all over winks.

Trust me. He's one of the smarter players we have. Not a complete peanut brain like Son, Moura, Dier, Sanchez, Sessegnon, etc.

Someone has given him a real football education. Just think about how often he made himself available for a pass which PEH doesn't do.

not doubting his brain one bit! i rate him in that sense, i rate that hes got some bollox on him too. just think physically he looks a little off it when it comes to the top level. the system doesnt help him at all in fact its probably the worst system possible for him. hes in a system where his team mates are as far away from him as possible which can leave him isolated with a fair bit of ground to cover.

I like Skipp but this is silly. Xhaka was a joke player for years and it was great, but if Skipp ever consistently performs as well as Xhaka has for the first half of this season he'll be surpassing the expectations that most would have for him.

Xhaka already reverted back to the mean. He was scoring goals to start but Fartey was doing the heavy lifting. Now that he's burned out, we see how average Xhaka really is.

Skipp is 22 and just getting back to what he was pre injury.

Skipp definitely has a chance to make it with us. People have short memories. This time last year people were bemoaning his injury and saying how much we missed him. He's a young lad who was injured for nearly a year and barely played since. Happy tonight was better and showed there's a player there

He got me through Nunoball. If Bentancur hadn't hit the ground running, our season would have ended with his injury.
