Match OMT: Bournemouth (H), Sunday 31st December, 14:00

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I can’t believe people are blaming our front 3.

This is on the midfield. The absolute worst midfield performance (Sarr excepted) that I’ve seen since we were playing a 2 man midfield.

No ball retention without Kulu. And all three MFs out there now are losing the ball, unable to relieve pressure, getting muscled off the ball and getting totally overrun.
The midfield is bad, make no mistake, but we have zero threat up top at the moment which allows them to press us higher putting more pressure on the middle of the pitch. If even one of those three were able to show something of a threat it would free up space for us. Their inability to control the ball let alone create an attacking threat is just putting pressure on us we don’t need.

Ever since Sarr went off we have lost control of the midfield and therefore control of the game. 12 chances conceded in one half to Bournemouth at home!!!

Let’s be honest. Blaming anyone specifically is unfair. The entire side has looked shit. Everyone is having their own poor moments.

It's games like this where I see how much we miss Kulusevski playing on the right.

His ability to just hold onto the ball, slow play down and keep it in our possession is massively missing today.

Our midfield has gone completely missing since Sarr left the field. Lo Celso poor all half, Skipp not great since coming on. Less said about Son's 45 the better, same as Johnson.

Hope they can regroup and go again with a better intensity and application in the second half because at the moment it's just a matter of time before Bournemouth go on and score multiple goals.

Looking like Newcastle these last couple games, absolutely dead on our feet. Little pressing, poor passing, etc etc

Nothing on the bench to really change it up though

A half of two halves. . We were the better team for the first 25 mins, but from there we allowed Bournemouth to run the show, and are lucky not to have conceded.

Vital half time talk and plan now.

This has nothing to do with injury, it's the lack of quality in midfield.

Easily being 3-1 down, thank f goodness for the whistle.

Players getting in the way, both winger of us not helping out to cover the overlapping players.

We miss soloman, for the work and goals of son he has become greedy at times, he's a lethal finisher but he's no where what we need.

Hopefully we dip into window and buy players like hwang or Pedro neto
