Got lucky a few seasons ago paying on ticket exchange in premium lounge for 79 quid. Touch that was but lucky i got that. Think we won as well. If you win makes it more worthwhile.
Yeah exactly a win at home against Woolwich is probably worth £200+

Personally I wouldn't mind them increasing £100 tickets to £120, but you get a £40 discount voucher if the game is a defeat or a £20 voucher for a draw - or to that effect.

Leyton Orient have introduced an AA category, but have dropped Cat C.

A way to charge even more, hopefully Levy isn't watching.

Given the price of theatre tickets, concerts, national trust days out, theme parks, zoos etc I don't think ticket prices are massively unachievable, especially if you go high up in a corner.

If you want to be at front of the upper tier in line with the center circle watching us play Woolwich, I also don't think £120 or whatever is beyond what anyone could expect to be paying.

What I take more issue with is the few quid booking fee. A sly way of bringing in extra 10s of thousands of pounds each match day. There is no reasonable justification for that other than pure greed.

A day out at Spurs can be miserable, wet and cold, boring, dull even in recent years.. or can be a wonderful experience. Maybe 1 in 3 games would I say the experience justifies the ticket price, which quite frankly isn't enough.

People in London are relatively high earners compared to the rest of the UK and I doubt Chelsea, West Ham or Woolwich fans enjoy massively cheaper ticket prices, especially for good seats.
I hate to say it but I think you are out of touch

Was thinking of getting a membership again for me and the missus for the coming season. I know the prices are steep but thought what the hell, YOLO.

Upon closer inspection its basically 90 quid for a category A game and 45 quid per membership.

I actually cant bring myself to sanction these prices. I'm an accountant and the missus is a doctor. We arnt exactly on the breadline. If we cant afford it, who the fuck is going to games these days and what are they sacrificing to get tickets?

This ownership are just a bunch of greedy cunts taking advantage of loyal supporters. It makes me so angry we are priced out.

If you don’t have a mortgage or a pretty small one the ticket prices are affordable.
Most of our season tickets holders are probably over 50 now and in that demographic.

Also our supporters are minted. That’s just a fact.

And I gave up my 2x STs and got a dog.
He costs me more than the football. Go figure.

Problem I have is even with One Hotspur+ any tickets are still very difficult nevermind the price. Waiting in queue at position 20,000 for 30min before finding out there are no seats together so I'd have to sit on the other side of the stadium to my dad

It's the state of what football in general has become.
It's not a working man's sport anymore it's all about money.
This is why I laugh at fans absolute obsession of signing players and/or paying big wages.
If a club signs a player for 100m and pay him £300k a week other fans moan and say we should do that.
Until there is a price cap on signings and a wage cap these ticket prices will continue to rise.
My ST (also block 252) is a little gift to myself each year and as already mentioned an average of £57 a game is not bad, in my opinion.
I still wake up on matchday like a kid at Christmas and usually enjoy the day ahead.
For me it's not just about the football it's about the match day experience.
Meeting up with mates, having a few beers and something to eat is still my favourite day out.
If that stopped being the case then I would probably reconsider, but whilst I still enjoy it I will carry on supporting the club.

Fortunately we have the choice of paying the price or not, and as Nutter-Naylor Nutter-Naylor has mentioned, he chose to scale down his attendance, which is a sensible approach if the pricing bothers you.

The good old days are long gone and this modern day money infested football is here to stay.

I get that it's long shot thinking but for someone living in Spain, what's the best tactic to be in a decent position to get tickets if we get to the EL Final in Bilbao?

I usually use mates STs when I'm in the UK if I am going to a game so haven't had a membership for a couple seasons. If I get one this year but only get to 1 or 2 games, would that even help me get close enough to the top of the list for EL tickets?

Genuine question, how do you use a mates ST?
It's not like having a card anymore it's all done electronically.
I thought it was pretty much impossible to attend a game unless you were at least a member or tickets go to general sale.

Maybe I'm wrong ?

I would think, to get EL final tickets as a member will be nigh on impossible mate.
