Praising the likes of Sane, Salah, de Bruyne, Gabriel Jesus is because they're ridiculously good footballers. Not because of who they play for.
Dismissing Salah because he is the top goalscorer in the league ahead of Kane by a few goals, yet taking until November to score 15 goals in all competitions.. AS A WINGER.. is fucking laughable.

modern game is seeing the death of the classic no. 9, Salah is no CF but if he looks at how he plays for Liverpool he's always the player on the front, so calling him a midfielder is way off.
Unless you like off licences, being served through a cage, or chip/fast food shops don’t.

I wouldn’t say Salah is a winger any more than Mane, or even Son is.
Liverpool, like City with no aguero , don’t play with a striker as such. They don’t play with wingers in the traditional sense. Wingers are tricky with pace amd the main function is to get to the byline and supply crosses and cutbacks for the striker
they play with 3 forwards. Usually Salah, Mane and Firmino.
Usually ones with pace either flank. They also interchange..
Would you call Sane, Sterling, Jesus wingers?
They all score goals and supply.
That’s not to say Salahs contribution should be scoffed at. He’s done very well.
But it’s not like he’s an out and out winger in their team.
With us we only have Kane, Son and Alli.
