Not watching the Manchester game, got Hamburg v Schalke on instead. Football hipster alert. Anyway, Schalke scored a goal with a clear handball and VAR was not employed. In Germany if the game is restarted is VAR not allowed to get involved? Probably better than in Italy where a goal can be disallowed after the game has restarted and play has continued for ten minutes, but they really need to standardise how to use the system across the countries that use it otherwise it's never going to stop being confusing.
